From Friday, Sept. 4, through Sunday, Sept. 6, the Winnemucca Events Complex will be packed with fun things to do. The bad news is you may not be able to fit it all in. The good news? It’s all free. “Joey Dillon World Champion Gunslinger” will perform for the first time at this year’s Tri-County Fair, although local audiences will likely remember the one man cowboy stage show for many years to come. Joey holds three World Championship Gunslinger titles, is a Hollywood gun coach to the stars, and is an actor as well. Joey has been work- ing professionally nationwide and internationally for over 17 years with his unique display of cow- boy six gun handling. Local audiences can catch Joey Dillon on the Main Stage Outside at 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Friday; 2 p.m., 4:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Saturday; and at noon, 5 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. Sunday. There is no charge for admission and all ages are welcome. “The Magic of Brian Ledbetter” will return this Labor Day weekend. This young, modern, hip per- former will present thrilling magic with a universally appealing contemporary flair. Ledbetter’s extensive background in theatre has benefitted his magic, honing it to a seldom reached level of perfection. His magic is performed with grace, wit, charm, class, poise, and presence—a combination which truly creates memorable performances. Local audi- ences will get to experience the fun firsthand dur- ing five performances on the Main Stage Outside at 5:45 p.m. Friday, 1 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. Sunday. Each show will last 45 minutes and is free to the public. Also on the bill for this Labor Day weekend is the return of “The Amazing Concert Hypnotist Jeff Rose.” Rose will combine his hypnotic talents and his quick wit to create one terrific and very funny show. The show will play at 8:30 p.m. Friday, Sat- urday and Sunday—all on the Main Stage Outside at the Winnemucca Events Complex. There is no charge for admission. “The Rowdy Refs Family Fun Show” also is scheduled to return to this year’s Tri-County Fair. The show will draw 20 unsuspecting youngsters and adults into the fun during each show’s seg- ment, which will feature all the crazy stunts folks see on TV, but this time it will be family and friends who get to experience the fun first-hand. There will be plenty of prizes, fun and even a take-home trophy or two as well. The Rowdy Refs will present three shows on the Main Stage Outside at 4:45 p.m. Friday, noon Saturday, and 10 a.m. Sunday. Each show will last about 45 minutes and is free to the public. The weekend also will feature Winnemucca’s own “Spirit of Mexico Youth Dancers,” who will don brightly colored costumes to wow crowds with their well-hone folk dancing talents. Performances will take place at 7:15 p.m. Friday, 5:30 p.m. Sat- urday, and 2:15 p.m. Sunday on the Main Stage Outside. All ages are welcome and there is no charge to attend. Of course, the entertainment highlight of the entire weekend is the Jerrod Niemann concert scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 5, in the Winnemucca Event Center. Ruthie Collins will open the show. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., Ruthie Collins will per- form at 7:30 p.m. with Jerrod Niemann following. Tickets are now on sale at www.winnemucca. com. Pre-event day prices range from $50 to $75.
