Trevor McClintock looks at linesThis was one of those golden moments, you just chance upon whilst strolling with a camera, a favourite Trevor McClintock past time of course. This appears to be carefully constructed, mathematically adjusted, scientific formula of photography. However, it was pure chance that led to its capture. It was one of those days that Trevor McClintock went out and about, really not with the aim of capturing the perfect photograph, more to enjoy the air and the joy offered by the countryside. Armed with a Leica, it was pure chance that on looking up at the sky in a blissful moment, this was beheld. Trevor McClintock Photography is known for its passion for space, meaning, feeling and contemplation. Although the perfect contrast of all that is natural and all that is man-made and ugly, this photo turned out to be a thing of beauty. Trevor McClintock aims to bring satisfaction to the eye of the beholder. This photograph is deeply satisfying in its scientific form and very much draw the eye of the observer down the power line and into the explosion of green at the boom of the photograph. A powerful attack on the senses.

Trevor McClintock looks at life formsHere Trevor McClintock was experimenting with a new under-water camera gadget and spied these peaceful, fascinating creatures. Many hours of experimenting ensued (whilst of course not disturbing the divine little family, clearly oblivious to the observing camera). In true Trevor McClintock form, the photo ended its path of editing in stunning black and white. Aside from being such an attractive filter to use, it somehow impacted on the atmosphere of the piece. It reflects the tranquillity and the muted peace of the underwater world, perfectly capturing the delicate nature of the creatures and their secret surroundings. Trevor McClintock felt honoured to have experienced this magical moment and to have it on record.

Trevor McClintock embraces the nightEver the night owl, Trevor McClintock was enjoying a peaceful night adventure when this mystical masterpiece crossed his path. Appearing almost as a painting rather than a photograph, this inky composition has been altered in terms of contrast to really draw out the harsh, black lines of the bare trees. This is in turn complimented by the soft, glowing sensation of the clouds behind, making the contrast even starker. Almost seeming as if it has been edited with the Trevor McClintock favourite black and white or sepia filters, this has in fact been taken and left in colour.

Trevor McClintock absorbs historyTrevor McClintock is known for his passion for space, inspiring places and light. Here we see a wonderful composition of ancient ruin and sky, almost half and half of the canvas, giving the photograph an interesting feel. We have the beautiful, crumbling man-made ruin melting gently into the blue sky and candyfloss clouds. Something about the way the two sit together is deeply satisfying and brings a sense of calm. The building carries such history and meaning and the sky perhaps echoes the future possibilities. All is encapsulated and framed by the rolling, luscious green grass.Trevor McClintock seems to find these compositions almost by chance. They are very rarely scientific in their birth.
