Due to how Chicago Trencherman’s is,
and how sports oriented Chicago is,
Trencherman’s needs a mascot.
This mascot needs to encompass the duality of Trencherman’s personality.
He needs to reference the notion of the Old-fashioned globe-trotting glutton,
but done in a style that is unique, quirky and attractive to the palette of
Chicago’s beer enthusiasts.

The neck sticker creates a visual ID
system for the different beers with
a color system. This way different
beers are easily identifiable.
The color pallete chosen for the neck
stickers are picked up from a
vintage map. They are bright and
identifiable but yellowed for that
“fake sophisticated” look.

as many beers into people’s mouths as possible.

And, we built you thiswebsite on Word Press“Currently Brewing” is a self updating status bar for the beer you
are currently brewing. It automatically updates what stage the
beer you are brewing is in based on the dates you put in. It also
automatically updates your twitter whenever the beer has hit a
new step in the process.
“Ye Old Fashioned Web Log” is the place where we can utilize
the clients inherently charming personalities and world travels
into a blog that can generate interest, maximize website hits,
and promote the personality of the brand. Blog about pairings
you recommend for your beer, different unique ingredients you’re
discovering on your travels, and vimeo the brewing process.
“Forthcoming Tastings” is a place that will have quick details
about all your upcoming tastings, along with links to the Facebooks
event pages that you are already using to send out invites.
