Xing tianIn 4th century BC, which was way before the time of Jesus Christ’s birth, there lived brave man named Xing Tian. Xing Tian was not just any ordinary man, he was a giant and he was a soldier to Emperor Yan. He was the strongest and the fastest swordsman there ever was in the land and even in the world. At the Battle of Banquan, Emperor Yan’s army lost to the yellow army. During this time, the giant Xing Tian wanted to take revenge for his master and went after the yellow emperor.

He challenged the yellow emperor to a duel and as they fought, the emperor chopped his head off with his axe. But Xing Tian did not die as he used his bravery to try and defeat the yellow emperor in the best way he could, and he did. He used his chest as eyes to see and his belly button as a mouth to speak. The headless giant became the terror and protector of the people around him. Now after all these years, Xing Tian is back.

He is around, hiding and watching and will attack anyone who wrongs him. Xing Tian is someone who cannot be defeated and represents the fact that no matter what trouble one may face, one must not surrender and move forward with bravery. But Xing Tian is also someone who does not like people who lie, or cheat or steal. He is, after all, a headless giant who is very powerful. Pragya rahman

“Where were you?” asked Ethal, angrily. “Can’t you stop talking? Just feel it!” They were getting drenched in the rain which they enjoyed for a long

time. “Oh, it’s so enjoyable! But Grap, come inside the house right now! Dan, you too. You are already too wet and it’ll be too late before you can go home and change. You might catch a cold,” said Ethal.

They came back inside the house. “That was awesome!” exclaimed Grap.

“Yes! Wow, your house is so nice!” complemented Dan. “Why not? After all, this is the home of Grap!” he smirked.“Wait, you were an engineer?” Dan asked in mild surprise. Grap replied with a smile, “Yes, dear!” They were interrupted by Ethal, “Hey don’t try to be too smart,

by changing the topic Grap! Where were you? I couldn’t find you anywhere!”

“I was in a deep mediation! Thinking about my future. What will I do?” He replied.

“Well you want to be a singer, mediation helps. But you can’t achieve it by just meditating.”

“Yes, no worries. Well, actually, I went to California because yesterday was my Granny’s funeral. I visited her grave. And I’m sorry about not telling you beforehand. To be honest, it all happened so suddenly, my friend Mike took me there. Also, I can’t do THAT alone. Anyway, I should go. See ya! Bye!” Daniel went from there.

“Impossible for a plain country pumpkin and a prince to join in marriage...Impossible” Haha this is a song from one of the versions of Cinderella.

I have watched all the versions of Cinderella: the animated one, the old movie version and the latest ones. And in every version, according to me, Cinderella(a very ordinary girl) doing the Impossible. I think the actual story of Cinderella teaches us; If you have a dream(for real), hold onto it, fight for it and chase it, no matter what the odds are. It can be finding the prince of our dreams or a career, or both. JUST GO FOR WHAT YOU WANT, DEFEATING THE OBSTACLES. And for me that is it, I have many dreams, who doesn’t? but i have two prime ones and I will do anything and everything to fullfill them. I am ready to beat all the odds, any obstacle, look through all the defaults and In Sha Allah achieve them.

And that makes me who I am and gives you a reason for choosing me.

Hi! My name is Zariya and I am nine years old. I live with my parents and my little brother . My grandparents live across the street where I live and that is wonderful because I can visit them anytime I want. My other grandparents live a little far away but it’s fun to visit them too over the weekend when we stay over with mom.

I go to Sunbeams school and enjoy my classes, specially games class. I love my teachers too and I know that they do too. I like to play with toys, read books, watch movies and also listen to music. Oh yes, I love making things with loom bands.

Like every other girl, I love Disney princesses: Elsa, Ariel, Belle and Cinderella. I would not say that Cinderella is my favourite princess but we do have some similarities and that is why I like her. I like blue. I have a blue dress like Cinderella. I am kind and helpful. I like doing house works. And the biggest similarity is that I am always losing my shoes. I often find one of the pair and never find the other one. Then my mother or someone else finds it for me. Hello,I am Zavia. I am 10 years old and I study in fourth grade in Sunbeams.

I am the only child. What makes me the princess of my family is that I am the only grand child from my mother’s side and only grand daughter from my father’s side. Hence I have always been the apple of their eyes and am pampered like a princess. Just like a princess I am always showered with gifts and lots of love. Even before I could even think about something I already had it. My friends always jealous of me. My parents taught me that I should not take all this love for granted. I am extremely lucky but I have to be worthy of it. I always try to appreciate their efforts and like to share my things with those who are not lucky like me. I believe that, in order to be a true princess you have to be lovable and earn the respect from everyone by being polite and nice to them. Hence i am truly blessed to have all the love but i try to be on my best behavior to make my family happy.

Hi, I am Sohelee. I am a work-at-home entrepreneur. I completed my BBA from IBA, Dhaka University in 2010.

I am ‘Cinderella’ because:

I have always believed in ‘Prince Charming’ and it came true for me when I married my childhood best friend in 2011. We were re-united by fate, after 10 years in 2009 on the auspicious day of Pohela Boishakh (Bengali New Year)!

I never look back, because I believe if Cinderella would’ve looked back to get her shoe, she wouldn’t be able to become a princess.

I never stop dreaming and always give my best to make my dreams come

true. If Cinderella would give up and didn’t attend the ball, the Prince would never get to know about her at all.

I am a star in every scene of my life and I like to shine for myself and for others as well.

I appreciate whatever I am blessed with in life and am always capable of making lemonade out of the lemons life throws at me. I believe there’s a Cinderella in every girl, it’s just, not every of them has the courage to realize her own ‘fairy-tale’ and make it come true.
