“Into the woods” is a movie based on the tales of “Little Red Riding Hood,” “Cinderella,” “Rupunzel,” and “Jack and the beanstalk”. It is a musical and a fantastic mixture of the four stories put together. The story is of a baker and his wife who are without a child and who are on a journey to end a curse on them by a wicked witch. The story has a lot of twists and turns that lead to a tearful and heartwarming end; that talks about responsibilities and the result of wishes. Pragya rahman

for those often forgotten Jacquie Lee’s “Broken Ones” is a song sang for those who are often forgotten. These are the people whom we forget to call or write to when we’re too busy with our lives. Perhaps, these people need our help now and we’re too busy. The song talks about such problems in detail, is full of emotions and carries beautifully written lyrics. This song is also quite catchy and rhythmic. Once you listen to it, you will not feel like turning it off. Jacquie Lee, the artist who sang it, was a person on the hit American reality show “The Voice” in season five and she was trained by Christina Aguilera.

Speedy might be a turtle, but he’s not slow. Travelling the world and staying fit are his

favourite things.

Japanese animated television shows and films (anime) is 60% of the world’s animation and there are close to 130 voice acting schools for anime in Japan.

In Japanese “geisha” means “performing artist.” The first geisha were men but now they are usually women. Japan is also the only country in the world that has had weapons used against it; for historical references you can look up the history of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Japan is also a country at great danger as Mount Fuji, the tallest mountain in Japan, is an active volcano.

It is also a popular country because of its 18 Nobel Prize winners.

Japan’s high speed trains are known as bullet trains or shinkansen, which connects the main islands, including the Seikan Tunnel connecting Honshu to Hokkaido—the world’s longest railroad tunnel at 54 kilometers (33 miles). Pragya rahman

treasures of Japan

Japan is one of the most interesting countries

in the world, with full of amazing facts that

surround it. The national sport of Japan is sumo wrestling that brings

in a lot of national and international people.

While we’re on that topic, Japanese Samurai

were ancient warriors of great honour and pride. They were known as the best warriors in Japan. Their main weapon was

the Katana, a sharp sword with a slight curve to it.

Japanese food is also great. The fact that it needs eleven years of training to become a fugu chef (blowfish) is in itself very amazing and that the chef who is in training has to eat their own blowfish at the end of their training. The reason for this is that if their dish is not perfect, for example, if the fish is poisonous for being undercooked, they

have to eat it because they made it. As a result, at the end of their training the chef may die from eating their own food after.

The world’s most expensive tuna was sold in Japan for $7,35,000. Did you know that the sweet “fortune cookie” in the 19th century and was first made in Kyoto, Japan?
