Tree trimming involves the cutting and removal of smaller branches from a tree to keep it healthy and safe. Unfortunately, the term often gets confused with indiscriminate cutting and topping, which actually cause further problems.

Due to the density of wood, these branches can be hundreds of pounds in weight, causing serious injury if a person is caught underneath. Cutting higher level branches also requires special climbing and harnesses to avoid falls and slips well over two stories high at times.
