Treatment Sheet Labrinth (Earthquake) Song Background "Earthquake" is a song by British musician Labrinth which features long-time collaborator Tinie Tempah. The song serves as the second single from Labrinth to appear on his upcoming debut album, The Gallery (2012). It was released in the United Kingdom on 23 October 2011 through Syco and debuted at number two, having sold 115,530 copies - the highest selling number-two of the year. Labrinth first revealed the radio-edit of "Earthquake" on his official YouTube channel, on 16 September 2011. Remixes by Benny Benassi, Noisia, Eyes, Gareth Wyn and Street Policy were uploaded to Labrinth's Soundcloud account on the same day. The full explicit version of "Earthquake" was uploaded to Labrinth's SoundCloud account on 23 September 2011. Labrinth and Tinie Tempah performed an acoustic version of "Earthquake" with an orchestra and choir in BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge on 20 October 2011. The song will also feature on Now 80. Music Video I choose this song for my media music video when it had only just been produced and added to YouTube. After a few weeks the Official video was made and this was nothing like what I had pictured. It features the singer labrinth and rapper Tinie Tempah roaming through a futuristic world. The theme of the song is about how the fame hit him when syco signed him and how he’s already made a name for himself in his record label. The music video follows this while been showy because you can tell the video has had a lot of money spent on it. Obviously I wont be able to replicate the video but it’s not what I set out to do, I have my own ideas and my own interpretation of the story. In my music video I want to show from my own experience of gaining some fame because there are people out there that want to support and work with you and there are people who hate you and do it behind a computer screen. That’s what

Labrinth has done with his lyrics and video and I want to create this too in my own way.
