Reopening School on August 13• Approve updates to plans approved on June 9 for Stages 1 (distance
learning), 2A and 2B (hybrid learning), and 3A, 3B, and 4 (all learning at school) so that plans are ready to implement in response to changes in health conditions

• Appropriate when social distancing requirements have been relaxed and county virus cases are decreasing
• Students at school five days per week• In 3A, we continue shortened schedules; in 3B, schedules return to normal• Continue shortened day or resume normal schedule depending on grade
level and conditions• Elementary students stay in class cohorts• We have a Stage 4 (normal operations) for when large group activities may
resume
How will we decide when to change stages?• Need to explore criteria with public health officials before making a
final decision
• Current best thinking is that if our county comes off the Governor’s Watch List for an extended time, we could safely increase the amount of time students are in school unless public health officials feel it is not advisable
• We will revisit the decision regularly to consider changes
• We can move between stages, either up or down, rapidly as needed
