This restriction will involve all Malaysian Citizens and Permanent Residents travelling abroad and all visitor and foreign nationals into the country as the following: 1. All foreign tourists and visitors ARE NOT PERMITTED TO ENTER

Malaysia INCLUDING the following:

a. Foreigners holding Malaysia work permit/expatriate. b. Foreigners holding Malaysia student visa. c. Foreigners under ‘’MALAYSIA MY SECOND HOME’’ program. d. All Malaysians from Peninsular Malaysia ARE NOT ALLOWED to

enter Sabah or Sarawak. e. All Sabahans and Sarawakians ARE NOT ALLOWED to enter

Peninsular Malaysia.

Note: (Item d and e) Malaysians who are already in either Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak before the directive (“Movement Control Order”-issued on 16 March 2020) was issued and wish to return to their state WILL BE ALLOWED to do so. 2. The following categories of foreign passengers ARE PERMITTED TO

ENTER Malaysia:

a. Foreigners who are holding Malaysia permanent residents visa. b. Diplomatic passport holders serving in Malaysia ARE PERMITTED

TO ENTER Malaysia. c. Families of foreign diplomats ARE PERMITTED TO ENTER

providing they are issued with a Dependant Pass. d. Spouse and children of citizen holding long term pass ARE

PERMITTED TO ENTER the country. 3. The following categories of passport holders ARE PERMITTED TO

DEPART Malaysia:

a. Malaysian passport holders holding foreign work permit, foreign resident visa or foreign student visa outside Malaysia ARE PERMITTED TO EXIT Malaysia but cannot return to Malaysia before 01 April 2020.

overseas ARE REQUIRED to undergo health check-up and UNDERTAKE self-quarantine for 14 days.

d. Malaysian Diplomats serving abroad are allowed to leave the country.

e. All visitors and foreign nationals ARE PERMITTED to leave the country and shall not enter until further notice.

4. Passengers with immediate transfer:

a. Foreigners ARE ALLOWED to transit through Malaysia on immediate transfer only.

b. Foreigners on transit through Malaysia WILL NOT BE ALLOWED

TO EXIT THE AIRSIDE whilst on transit. The above travel restrictions ARE STILL SUBJECTED TO FINAL DECISION by the Immigration Department of Malaysia at the point of entry in Malaysia. Previous advisory 1. Malaysia Immigration Department WILL NOT ALLOW entry into KUL to

If the visitors have been to those countries in the last 14 days before boarding their flight, it is required that the airlines to reject such visitors and do not allow them to depart.

into Malaysia to all PRC passport holders that are ISSUED from Hubei, Zhejiang or Jiangsu Provinces and all other nationalities with recent travel history within the last 14 days to Hubei, Zhejiang or Jiangsu Provinces in Mainland China.

2. The Government of Malaysia WILL NOT ALLOW entry OR transit

through Malaysia to all citizens of: ITALY, IRAN & SOUTH KOREA 3. All new visitors with travel history from ITALY, IRAN & SOUTH KOREA

and HOKKAIDO, JAPAN within the last 14 days WILL NOT BE ALLOWED entry into Malaysia or transit through Malaysia.

SABAH STATE 1. The state Government of Sabah has expanded the travel restrictions (all

points of entry by air, sea or by land) to the followings: a. All foreigners and Malaysian citizens (non-residents of Sabah), with

recent travel history to MAINLAND CHINA (PRC), within the last 14 days WILL NOT BE ALLOWED to enter Sabah.

b. All transit Passengers originating or through MAINLAND CHINA will not be allowed entry into Sabah.

SOCIAL VISIT PASS OR ANY EXEMPTION ORDER, returning from mainland CHINA, ITALY, IRAN & SOUTH KOREA and HOKKAIDO, JAPAN are subject to a compulsory 14 days home quarantine.

Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam and West Malaysia are to adhere to precautionary guidelines issued by the Sarawak Health Department at all Point Of Entry.

Note: Sarawak Disaster Management Committee issued the following guidelines on 13 March 2020 following reported positive cases of COVID-19. All non-essential travel to Brunei Darussalam, Sabah and Peninsular Malaysia are advised to be postponed or deferred. Visitors from Brunei Darussalam, Sabah and Peninsular Malaysia are also advise to postpone or defer their travel to Sarawak.

4 SINGAPORE 1. Effective 16 March 2020, passengers who are coming to Singapore on a short-term visit with travel history from ASEAN, UK, JAPAN, SWITZERLAND within the last 14 days ARE REQUIRED to submit health information for clearance by Singapore’s Ministry of Health before their intended date of travel.

2. Effective 15 March 2020, passengers with travel history to MAINLAND

CHINA, IRAN, ITALY,FRANCE, GERMANY and REPUBLIC OF KOREA within the last 14 days WILL NOT BE ALLOWED entry into Singapore, or transit through Singapore

3. Effective 16 March 2020, passengers with travel history to JAPAN, SWITZERLAND and UNITED KINGDOM (UK) within the last 14 day ARE ALLOWED to enter and SHALL BE ISSUED a 14-day SHN upon entry to Singapore. SHN will not apply for those who are transiting in Singapore without leaving the airport transit area.

4. Effective 16 March 2020, passengers with travel history to ASEAN

countries within the last 14 day ARE ALLOWED to enter provided MOH’s approval for entry to Singapore is obtained and SHALL BE ISSUED a 14-day SHN upon entry. Transit through Singapore are allowed, MOH’s approval and SHN will not apply for those who are transiting in Singapore without leaving the airport transit area

5. Effective 16 March 2020, Foreign Domestic Workers (FDWs)

(regardless of travel history) will be required to show the MOM approval letter 5 to the airline staff at check-in and before boarding at the point of departure. The FDWs will also be required to show the MOM approval letter at the ICA checkpoint upon arrival in Singapore

6. From 19 Feb to 29 Mar 2020: passengers and crew members who

were on the cruise ship ‘Diamond Princess’ ARE NOT ALLOWED to enter Singapore or transit through Singapore.

i. Will be issued a 14-day Stay-Home Notice (SHN) upon entry to Singapore, except passengers with travel history to Hubei province, who will be issued a Quarantine Order (QO) upon entry to Singapore

b. With travel history to JAPAN, SWITZERLAND and UNITED KINGDOM (UK) within the last 14 days effective 16 March 2020:

i. Will be issued a 14-day SHN upon entry to Singapore.

c. With travel history to ASEAN countries within the last 14 days effective 16 March 2020:

i. Will be issued a 14-day SHN upon entry to Singapore.

d. From 19 Feb to 29 Mar 2020, passengers and crew members who were
