The Hilton is a 0.1 mile walk from the NCLC. Exit the back doors towards the lake and bear right. Follow the walkway to our building, One University Place. Take the exterior stairs and enter through the front of the building. We are on the 3rd floor in Suite 300.

Upon check-in, the hotel will ask for a credit card for incidentals. Use of a debit card results in an immediate deduction of $50/night from your account. Reimbursement from your bank will take place after departure but may take several days.

This service is only available from PHL. No reservation is needed for incoming flights. To use this

program when you arrive at PHL:

1. Collect your baggage from the baggage claim.

2. Find one of the ground transportation phones located in that area.

3. Dial 21, which will connect you with Rapid Rover.

A return trip with Rapid Rover requires a reservation at least 48 hours in advance at the location of

your choice. For example, it might be more convenient to arrange a pick up at our facility once your

training has ended. Rapid Rover will advise you with the time of your pickup. For payment, they

accept cash and credit cards (AE, MC, and VISA).

FAQs: Tips for a ReMarkable Experience

How do I check my registration?

Your registration information can be found on your BAYADA University home page. At the top of

the page, click My Learning, then My Learning Plan to reveal the date, time, and location of

your training. Click the name of the class to make any changes to your registration and view

details about the class.

If you have any trouble making changes, updates or need further assistance, please email

the BAYADA University mailbox. >>

What if the weather is bad?

While we can’t control the weather, your safety is a priority. If inclement weather impacts any

training classes, a team member will communicate the changes via email as soon as possible to

all participants and facilitators.

What happens if I have to cancel my registration?

Life happens. If you are unable to attend a training class, go to your Learning Plan in BAYADA

University, click on the course, and select Reschedule Me. If you have any trouble making

changes or updates, please email the BAYADA University mailbox as soon as possible. Late

cancellations may result in a charge due to the planning and logistics that go into each session.

How do I make my hotel reservations?

Please contact your chosen hotel directly to

make reservations. Hotels for North Carolina

can be found on pages 3 to 4, and New Jersey

on pages 6 to 8. Please use the codes or links

provided in this document to ensure that you

get the contracted BAYADA rate.

You can choose to stay at a hotel not

recommended in this document. Please feel free.

A quick search of the Internet will provide many

local options (others listed on each Learning

Center’s travel page). If you choose to stay at a

hotel not listed in the Travel Guide, please plan

on coordinating your own transportation to and

from the NJLC.

What is an incidental?

BAYADA covers the cost of your stay at your chosen hotel for the duration of your training.

This coverage includes the room charge, plus tax. It does not cover incidentals, including

non-essential hotel amenities such as room service, spa treatments, or gratuities.

Do I need to rent a car?

Car rental is at the discretion of your director. All of the major airports near the Learning

Centers provide shuttle and taxi service to the local hotels. Our recommended hotels also

provide shuttle service to the Learning Centers; please see pages 3 - 4 for more detailed

information on North Carolina, and pages 6 - 8 for New Jersey.

What should I wear?

The standard dress at the Learning Centers is business professional. Keep in mind: this

speaks to your training class. If you are in a clinical training where scrubs are appropriate,

wear what fits the position. See BAYADA’s policy on dress code for more information.

What time do I need to get there?

Class begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. We recommend arriving at least 15 - 20 minutes early, to

ensure that you have time to check in and grab the all-important cup of coffee.

Will food be provided?

The Learning Centers provide a light morning

snack, lunch, and light afternoon snack, as

well as coffee, tea, juice, soda, and water.

If you have a medical or religious dietary

restriction, please contact the coordinators

of the Learning Center you will be visiting

(contact information found on page 1 of this

document) or email the BAYADA University

Do you have bottled water?

In order to be as eco-friendly as possible, we do not provide bottled water. Each Learning

Center provides filtered water taps and cups for participants. Feel free to bring your own

bottle to fill!

Should I bring my laptop?

Laptops will not be needed for training purposes. However, many participants like to use their

lunches and breaks to catch up on emails from the office. If you decide to bring your laptop,

please refrain from using it during class, as we encourage all attendees to be engaged and to

participate.

Do I need to do anything after class?

As The BAYADA Way states, we strive to continuously improve our work through evaluation,

education and training. Please be on the lookout for an evaluation following your training

session. In addition, assessments are assigned after Welcome, CORE and Director Training.

These will both be listed within your Learning Plan in BAYADA University.

Cherry Hill Mall Home to more than 100 stores and restaurants, the Cherry Hill Mall is just a short, six-minute ride from the Learning Center. It truly has something for everyone! For a full list of stores and visitor information, visit the mall's web site. >> Cooper River Park Just a short walk across the street from the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Cooper River Park features walking trails, picnic areas, and kayak rentals.
