Selvan Dasaraj | Founder

ABOUT USWho We Are

Selvan has 27+ years of corporate experience and has handled Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR),

Corporate & Public Affairs, Profit & Loss , Business & Strategy Development and Operations.

He has handled various CSR programs in United Parcel Services (UPS) and Mahindra Logistics, such as

scholarship for underprivileged, driver welfare activities and village adoption through various NGOs.

Ramesh Kumar | Co-Founder

Ramesh Kumar is seasoned business journalist with 38 years publishing exposure in India and abroad.

Travelled 21,000 KM on Indian highways (2010-12) to understand the living conditions of long haul

drivers and wrote three books: “10,000 KM on Indian Highways”, “Naked Banana!” and “An Affair With

Indian Highways”.

In 2013, Ramesh set up KRK Foundation, a registered trust to uplift the long haul drivers’ living

standards and their families living in remote villages.

DHABA ADOPTIONThe Golden Quadrilateral Dhaba Adoption Program

The Golden Quadrilateral Dhaba Adoption Program, TM plans to setup 100Dhaba’s which will constitute as a base for various CSR related programs.This initiative will not only help in uplifting the driver community but alsothe surrounding rural areas within the vicinity of the adopted dhabas.

Typical Routes selected are 1000 KM +. Drivers are tracked and managedacross the entire route(s) thru the Integrated center managed byTransportMitra & PixelHealth personnel. Training and Clinics are deployedthrough TransportMitra & PixelHealth empaneled personnel to deliverTraining and Care to drivers.

Smart Driver Training Program designed for Truck Drivers. Road Safety Awareness, Highway Signage's, Importance of Health & Wellness, Seasonal Driving Tips etc. advocated to truckers.

Health Risk Assessment Program for Truckers. All medical test results will be shared with truck drivers via the Cloud. The trucker can access his reports at any point of time and at any place.

This enables constant health monitoring of his health at any Centre he visits.

HEALTH CARE

The Dhaba Adoption Program is used to create clinics where in Pixel trained provider enables diagnostics and advocacy and monitoring.

Non-Invasive and invasive cloud based technologies are adopted for diagnostics & evidenced based care.

The health risk assessment provides a detailed body analysis of the driver, this includes Body Fat % to Muscle Mass. The healthcare program helps in identifying the occupational health risks faced by the drivers which are categorized into three Tiers.

Tier 1 | Tier 2 | Tier 3

Tier 1 wherein the driver has minimal risk hazards to Tier 3 where the driver is deemed a high risk where clinical intervention is required.

Under the aegis of Government of Karnataka, TransportMitra has set up a Driver Empowerment Centre at the Dr. Devaraj Urs Truck Terminal Ltd. (DDUTTL) at Bengaluru, Karnataka.

The Driver Empowerment Centre (DEC) facilitates Smart Driver Training Program, Advocacy and Health Risk Assessment for truck drivers visiting the truck terminal.
