Who We areTudor is a research centre focused on company innovation. Our aim is to make a significant contribution towards innovation, through a scientific approach, in order to increase the Luxemburgish economic competitiveness. The transport and logistics sector has been identified by the government as a strategic pillar of economic development for the country. To aid this development, we respond to company needs and provide tailored solutions adapted to both their size and budget, whether public or private, large groups or SMEs. The multi-disciplinary competences of the Centre enable us to develop and test new innovative concepts and methods. Moreover, these solutions are impartial as we have no links with commercial solutions.

After having acquired both expertise and recognition, we are now fully enabled to participate in large pan-European projects, such as training courses responding to the needs of the sector. The ultimate objective is to reinvest subsequent results back into Luxembourg businesses.

Active in several international research networks and our capacity as a founding member of the Cluster for Logistics, we fully support and contribute to key issues within the sector at a national level.

What We WantWe want to assist companies within the transport and logistics sector in rising to the main challenges with which they are faced, namely:

• Logistics chains becoming increasingly globalised and into which local or regional actors must integrate themselves;

• Environmental concerns that are becoming increasingly important in decision-making;

• The crucial need for more specific training in a sector which is becoming more and more specialized.

our goal• To apply our scientific and technical expertise to support public and private

actors;

• To develop co-modal approaches that integrate several transport means in an innovative way;

• To develop and share our expertise through a dedicated training portfolio to professionals in the transport and logistics sector.

What We propose• To work with sector professionals in planning the future of logistics in

Luxembourg;

• To advise companies on optimizing their internal and external logistics flow;

• To assist in building tailor-made solutions to the company, from the planning to the realisation stage.

hoW to innovate With usWe offer you five types of collaboration.

Flagship project

Among the TRANSPORT & LOGISTICS innovation programme projects, WEASTFLOWS " West East Freight Flows " stands out as a landmark project. Launched in 2011, the project gathers together 22 European partners for the development of sustainable solutions for the transport of goods and logistics in North West Europe. The project is co-financed by the Interreg programme operated by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
