Transport accompanied mankind since the beginning of civilization. We have identified various means of transport since the dawn of time:

Legs

In ancient times, people poured moves on his feet, because they did not know other means of transport.

Horses

Horses

Horses were used as durable animals to carry people and cargo. In various parts of the world were used to create different:-in the area of desert camels,- in the mountains donkeys were carrying goods.The fastest horses in the world are the Arabs who now competes in endurance racing.

Horse carriage

Horse-drawn carriage - four-wheeled horse-drawn vehicle, light. since the eighteenth century, often used in Poland in the countryside for economic purposes and communication in Western Europe was the passenger vehicle. Currently carriages are used mainly for tourism.

Ships

Sailing ship was first invented.

Steamboats were a much more prominent and faster. But at the beginning of a very dangerous. Only in the nineteenth century, perfected and became a regular cruise.

Trains

The first trains were used in industrial plants or mines, and were propelled by muscle power of draft animals or humans. The world's first scheduled train in the railway took its toll on the line Stockton - Darlington, England September 27, 1825 .

Currently, trams are driven solely by electric motors . Formerly also used the horse trams, steam or gas, as

well as stationary drive systems.

Cars

For the first constructor car is considered by Nicolas-Joseph Cugnot, who presented such a car in 1769. Another important period in the history of the car are around 1870 years. Siegfried Marcus constructed when the first car powered by gasoline. Car is currently the most popular means of

transport.

Planes

At the end of the nineteenth century, many inventors have tried to construct an airplane, a glider with the drive. This has been two American brothers, Orville (1871-1948) and Wilburowi (1867-1917) Wright, who built the plane moved in 1903 an internal combustion engine made its first controlled flight. It lasted 12 seconds. On the same day the brothers made three more flights, during which the aircraft flew 270 meters and the longest flight lasted 59 seconds. This year is considered

the beginning of an era aircraft.
