Step 1: Application Form All promoters|entrepreneurs should complete the application form. This form

will provide INOVISA summary information about the company|business idea,

its products|services and the kind of infrastructure needed.

Step 2: Description of the business idea or Business Plan presentation To the entrepreneurs who, after completing the first step, still want to continue the incubation process, will be required the provision of more detailed information about the business idea or, when available, the Business Plan. This information (which should include detailed data about the state of development of the business, management team, market potential and business success potential) will be examined internally and, when necessary, by a partner specialized in the field of action of the business. If the business meets the pre-established criteria selection the project moves on to incubation stage.

When the project|business idea is not yet ready to move on to

incubation stage, INOVISA may follow its development during pre-

incubation (usually this stage takes about 6 months to a year)

Selection Criteria

The criteria used during selection process are based on

INOVISA’s mission and objectives.

The entrepreneurial projects supported should be framed in agricultural, food, forestry, biothecnological and environmental sectors. INOVISA also supports start-ups in other sectors but with potential to create synergies for their transversality of action, or companies that develop technologies applied to priority sectors of activity.

The entrepreneurial projects supported must be technology-based or provide qualified services.

The products|services developed must have potential for commercialization and the entrepreneurial projects should have growth capacity.

The entrepreneurial project should be in an early stage of development, i.e., not be operating for more than 2|3 years.

Promoters should have the necessary capabilities to perform well in operations that might be developed (management knowledge and activity sector knowledge, entrepreneurial attitude, …) and accept the support of the Management Team of INOVISA.

The entrepreneurial projects supported must not compete with the other existing companies of INOVISA.
