The GIST

GIST: If the project is replicated on a statewide level, then it could

a) Transform urban and semi urban transport

b) Connect every panchayat headquarter of Rajasthan with the tehsil headquarter

by formal transport ( no state in India has yet achieved this)

c) Not cost the government a single rupee in expenditure

( infact provide government a steady revenue stream)

d) Be deployed throughout Rajasthan in less than 6 months

e) Provide new employment to lakhs of youth

f) Boost trade and agricultural linkages between urban and rural areas

g) Be a highly visible and moving symbol of a successful government programme.
