Pricing Your Products To Build Sustainable Revenue In Your BusinessRobin WaiteNow, 90% of business owners I know are grinding their gears with marketing, try-ing to sell more of the same product and flat out struggling to make any progress.Your accountant will be helping you to cut your costs.Which leaves the last option, Selling Your Products at a Higher Price.

The Power of I – Small Steps to Make a Big DifferenceJackie HandyThis talk will highlight what Diversity & Inclusion really is, why it’s so important for today’s businesses to embrace, the consequences of not (on people and profitability) and some small steps to begin the journey to an inclusive world.Diversity & Inclusion is much more than simply promoting more women (although that’s important too!)A business cannot tick diversity boxes and promote that they are now inclusive. Attracting and recruiting staff is only part of the journey. Retaining an engaged workforce is the hardest part and for those organisations who truly embrace the power of inclusion (the power of I) by promoting small steps to change, will see the greatest return on their investment.

The 3 Myths Of Innovation And How YOU Can Take Advantage Of NOWDanny Matthews- How leaders stay ahead of their competition in any market- The 3 Myths of Innovation- Why the robots won’t take ALL of our jobs- How branding and a simple proof of concept changed an entire industry- Why you don’t need to be technical, to be digital.

You will leave this talk feeling confident that you, and you alone can do what it takes to thrive in any economy.

The Skills We Need To Succeed In Tomorrow’s WorldPeter CheeseThe workplace, the nature of work and even what a company is has changed out of all recognition in the past few years. And one thing we can be sure of is that the speed of change will not slow down.

The skills that made you successful in the past are not the ones which will make you successful in the future (or even the present). Peter will talk about what skills and attributes you will need to have to succeed in the workplace of the future.

Grow Your Business. Save The PlanetEoin McQuoneThought profits and environmental responsibility don’t mix? Think again! Eoin McQuone will show us how sustainability is good for business.

“What if you could sell every product you make 20 times over?”“What if you could guarantee a monthly or annual income from every sale?”“What if you got your raw materials for free?”Sustainability isn’t just about saving the planet, it’s a business opportunity. In this talk you will learn about real-life examples of businesses using each of these scenarios to create competitive advantage – driving profitability, reducing their impact on the environment and inspiring their employees and customers. Then you will learn the 6 steps you can take to do this in your business.

What You Were Never Told About Communication And InfluencePeter MilliganIf you want to be an effective communicator who has more influence, come to this session to discover the really basic errors that most people make, and how you can avoid them.Have you ever wanted someone to do something and struggled to understand why they didn’t (even though it seems like the obvious and right thing to do, and you asked nicely!)? Whilst it would be tempting to conclude that they must be deaf, stupid, belligerent, or just lazy, it is worth considering whether you could approach things differently. Afterall, there are people who seem to be able to influence very effectively. This session will show you two common and avoidable errors that people make when communicating. Remembering to avoid these errors will make a big difference to you and the people you want to influence.

CyberSecurity In EnglishMark FaithfullBanks and big business spend millions every year on cyber-security, and yet still they get hacked. Most cyber-security training feels like it has been written by geeks for geeks and we are left with the uncomfortable feeling that we’re doing it wrong but not sure how to fix it.Drawing on two decades experience in corporate IT, cyber security and the ability to speak plain English - Mark Faithfull cuts through the jargon and explains what is going on, and what you can do about it.

Want Sustainability? - It Starts With You!Martin CroftSustainability is the current zeitgeist and extremes of views and positive behaviours oddly come from young Norwegian school girls and alike rather than our super power heads of state.

What is our role in the future of the planet and preserving it’s habitability – can you make a difference, are you capable of being the change you want to see in the world?

Martin Croft is a Life and Business Crisis Coach. Normally helping people in business breakthrough seemingly impossible problems they find themselves in. We typically work with owners and managers when things go wrong and crisis is the feeling in their world. We charge a high rate because we deliver high impact, breakthrough results in a very short time. What’s more, it’s painless and simple.

In 30 mins, you will see for yourself how transformational change can happen quickly and simply, both in business, life and ultimately the thriving of everyone but not at the expense of the planet. I’ll share with you the only thing standing in your way of making a positive difference in every situation.

‘But We’ve Always Done It This Way’ - Are Your Sales Techniques Stuck In The 90s?Angharad TruemanThe world of sales is an ever changing rabbit disappearing down a rabbit hole, and if you don’t want to get left behind, you need to keep up and open your mind to new possibilities of finding clients. I’ll be talking to attendees about how they should be reviewing their sales processes now and provide a bit of background about the success CGT has had with this over the last 18 months by banishing the ‘but we’ve always done it this way’ mantra to get out there and find new business. This has been through changing our mindset, but also through the use of technology, social media and our existing client base.

There are three areas every business owner and sales person needs to be considering now when it comes to increasing your sales and finding new business.

1. Content marketing using social media, your social media accounts are your new shop window. Businesses should be providig content that is engaging and useful for customers so they feel like they already know you AND they are already getting something from you (such as free information) before you have even spoken to them.

2. delving into your existing client base, your happy customers will always spend more if you add more value and

3. automating some parts of your sales process to save you time. You no longer need to be making 150 calls a day or driving around the country to meetings in order to win business, there are systems out there that can advertise and respond on your behalf. From using OCR to automate book keeping to producing your accounts.

The Impact Of Digital Connectivity On Human ConnectivityVicky HendersonVicky will explore how the mind works, the impact of digital connectivity on both our minds and human connectivity, linking it workplace wellness, staff retention and ultimately business growth.

Keynote: Sustainability, Connectivity & Technology As Applied To The Bloodhound ProjectRick Sturge - Bloodhound Land Speed Record Project

The current world land speed record of 763.035 mph (1,227.985 km/h) was set over 20 years ago by a British team including Bloodhound LSR driver Andy Green. Advances in engineering design, materials and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) since the last record was broken mean we can be confident of breaking that record with Bloodhound LSR.

The project is helping to push boundaries and demonstrate pioneering new technologies. Many of the aspects of our land speed record car have required engineers to think in new ways and manufacturers to develop novel production and testing methods.
