TRANSFERADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTSApply as soon as possible. The filing period for Spring 2020 admission is from August 1, 2019 - August 31, 2019. Apply online at calstate.edu/apply. Check your admission status at my.fullerton.edu.

Cal State Fullerton only accepts upper-division transfer students. Students must meet all of the following requirements for admission to CSUF:

• Good academic standing at the last college or university attended

• 60 transferrable semester units (90 quarter units); a maximum of 70 transferrable units from a community college or another institution may be used towards completion of a degree

• A minimum of 30-semester units (45 quarter units) in CSU-approved general education coursework with grades of C- or higher, selected from either the CSU General Education Breadth pattern or the Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC), including completion of the “Golden Four” courses.

IMPACTION Cal State Fullerton is a fully impacted campus. Impaction means there are more applicants for our campus than can be accommodated. To ensure capacity is not exceeded, more rigorous standards are applied to the transfer applicant pool. Impacted criteria may include local vs. out-of-local and/or major program impaction.

All transfer students must declare a major when submitting their application.

PLEASE NOTE: After submitting your application, you will receive an email that contains your Campus Wide ID (CWID) number and login instructions to my.fullerton.edu. Please activate and regularly check your student portal and CSUF email for updates on your admissions status.
