Daily Feed

The new Daily Feed first became available in March of 2019 and was revised in April of 2019. For a quick overview of what’s new, please take a look at the following sections:

Updated Tab Labels

Notifications is now System Notifications.

Feed is now News Feed.

Messages is now Direct Messages.

Events is now Meetings and Events.

The Transaction Approvals and Dashboard labels remain the same.

Click on each tab to perform a related action. Use the filters icon to find certain information.

System Notifications

The System Notifications tab displays system-generated notifications and reports.


News Feed

The News Feed tab displays user posts, polls, recognition, and badges.

Feed’s Functionality Enhancements: Full-Screen Images for All. HR Can Pin Content and Embed Links to Screens

Posted images now have full-screen mode. From full-screen mode, use carousel

functionality to view all images in a post.


The Payroll & HR Enterprise role can now pin their posted content to the top of everyone’s News Feed.

- A pin in the corner indicates pinned content.


- The Payroll & HR Enterprise user can unpin content when they no longer want it to appear on the top of the News Feed.

Payroll & HR Enterprise can now embed links in the Employee Enterprise role to post to the News Feed.


Direct Messages

Employees can view direct/private messages under the Direct Messages tab.


Meetings and Events

The Meetings and Events tab represents the calendar events screen.

- The Calendar View button was added to the Meetings and Events.

- The filters are opened by default to show the date for Meetings and Events. When first

opening the screen, the date filter will be the current month.


- If you open the Calendar View and change the date, the next time you enter the

Calendar View, you will be taken to the last month you viewed.

- The Start time defaults based on what day/time you click on.


Transaction Approvals

The Transaction Approvals tab shows transaction approvals in a more visual,

interactive listing.

- It also provides transparency into your own submitted task, what’s pending,

what’s past due, and what you’ve flagged.

- When viewing the workflow, you can send reminders (direct messages) to the approvers with a link to the transaction.

- To view the people in the workflow, click on the people icon for a task. - If you select “My Submitted Tasks,” you can view the workflow for your submitted

transaction and can then send a direct message to one or more approvers.


This also updates the Transaction Approvals screen.


- Opening the Transaction Approvals menu option will open the same Transaction Approvals dashboard that’s seen on the Daily Feed – just without the additional tabs found on the Daily Feed.


Dashboard

The Dashboard tab shows the existing dashboard screen.

Two new dashboard widgets are activated for Employee Self Service: Employee Pay and Employee Time Off.

- Each employee can add or remove these widgets.

- On the Employee Pay widget, you can drill down into more information by selecting the arrow tabs below.

- Employees can also add an events calendar widget and a shortcuts widget.
