SAMPLE HPLC-MS AND NMR ANALYSIS PROTOCOL RESIDUAL SOLVENTS DETERMINATION

Sample Lot: CBD2018/035-P23-I

Analysis: CBD purity and other cannabinoid content

Date: 9. 5. 2018

CBD / %* Cannabidivarin / %* C4 Analogue / %* '9-THC / % '8-THC / % 98.7 0.2 0.3 ND** ND**

*Uncertainty of measurement 2.5%; **Detection limit 0.01%

The level of total cannabinoid content and the distribution of single cannabinoids (specifically C3 and C4 analogues) vary depending on the strain of the variety used for extraction. Due to a structural similarity of CBD and its C3 and C4 analogues, purification is rather difficult.

The sample (10 mg) is dissolved in methanol (5 ml) and injected (5 μl) for HPLC-MS measurement.

HPLC conditions: Luna 100A 250x4mm RP-8 (5 μm) (250 x 4.0 mm ID), 25°C, UV detection 225 nm, isocratic condition (acetonitrile : water 80 : 20 + 1% HCOOH), Flow 1ml/min.

NMR measurement: The solid sample is dissolved in CDCl3. 1H NMR spectra were recorded using a 500 MHz Unity INOVA Varian instrument. Chemical shifts are reported in parts per million (δ) relative to TMS, referenced to signal CDCl3 (δ 7.26 ppm and δ 77.00 ppm, respectively).

NMR showed pure CBD signals without any significant non-natural impurities.

May contain up to 0.1% of water, glycerol and 0.1% residual waxes.

Total Residual Solvents: up to 500 ppm

Solubility: Alcohols, Alkanes, Aromatic hydrocarbon, Chlorinated solvents, Polar aprotic solvents

Store in dark and cold.

SAFETY DATA SHEET

Use a self-contained breathing apparatus and full-body protective clothing. Do not allow run-off of contaminated fire extinguishing material to enterdrains or surface and ground water.

Advice for firefighters5.3.

Heavy, black smoke is produced in a fire, with potential development of carbon monoxide and dioxide and other toxic gases. Inhalation ofhazardous degradation (pyrolysis) products may cause serious health damage.

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture5.2.not availableUnsuitable extinguishing mediafoam, carbon dioxide, powder, water spray jet, water mistSuitable extinguishing mediaExtinguishing media5.1.

SECTION 5: Firefighting measures

The mixture is non-flammable. Provide sufficient ventilation. Use gloves in case of prolonged contact. Follow the instructions in the Sections 7 and8.

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures6.1.SECTION 6: Accidental release measures

Prevent contamination of the soil and entering surface or ground water. Do not allow to enter drains.Environmental precautions6.2.

Spilled product to be contained in well closed containers and removed as per Section 13. Collected material should be disposed of in accordancewith locally valid regulations. Upon an escape of large quantities of the mixture, inform the Fire Department and the Environmental Department ofthe Municipal Authority with extended scope of competencies. After removal of the mixture, wash the contaminated site with plenty of water oranother suitable cleaning material. Do not use solvents.
