Introduction/Getting Started Search Functionality


INTRODUCTION

Access the Trane Web Sales Shop using one of the following addresses:

NOTE: Once entered into the online Shop, DO NOT use the browser back arrow. This will cause an exit from the program requiring the user to log-in again.

First-time users select the “Register here” link to request credentials. NOTE on Passwords – They are case sensitive. Recommend using 6-8 characters with a combination of letters & numbers.

First time entrance will request user to personalize their password.

Users receive prompts every 6 months to update password for security reasons.

If your session times out or exit a session without saving the contents in the cart, you will have the option to restore your cart when you log back in.

1. Links on left or center of page provide access to Product Configurator, Information, Ordering info, etc.

2. A known TR200 Drive part number can be entered into “Quick Search” or directly in the Cart after accessing “View Cart”.

3. Use “Search” for Ordering/Quotations/Templates and other business history.

Search: for Ordering/Quotations/Templates and other business history.

Shopping Cart: access and view cart content.

My History: provides list of last ten (10) saved quotes and orders.

Contact Sales: contact information for support services.

Logout: close your Trane Web Shop session

View Cart: access and view cart content.

Quick Search: enter TR200 Drive part number to access product in one-step.

Extended Search: search for Search product number, product name, EAN and/or Customer Product Number.

TR200 Drive Links: access to the configurator, options, accessories, pre-configured products and services available.

In the Cart, enter the 8-digit TR200 part number in “Code No.” field.

Use Enter key or “Update” button.

TR200 Selection/Configuration

1. CONFIGURE product based on specific requirements.

2. Enter TR200 Drive 8-DIGIT CODE number to select product.

3. Select from PRE-CONFIGURED product list.


The “Product” page accesses Product Configurators, Pre-Configured Products, accessories, Service Products, etc.

NOTE: Trane Web Sales Shop is formatted similar to a book with chapters and sub-chapters to select product types, series, and supporting accessories.

Review of three ways to find the TR200 Drive product of choice:

1. Configure product based on specific requirements.

2. Enter known TR200 drive 8-digit code number in Quick Search.

3. Select from pre-configured product list.

Configure a product by selecting the desired product features and options.

Recommended to start at top of configurator selection and work down.



Use the drop-down arrow to select available configurations.



1. Properly configured products are displayed by an “Accept” message and the Status description.

2. Clicking on “Accept” will provide a full product description.

3. “Add to Cart & Continue” to select more products or “Add to Cart & check out” if completed.

Using the “Accept” link from the configurator page displays the product description page and support links.

Note: “Configuration” link (1) will populate the configurator with the currently described product. To access the configurator reset to no variants selected use the “Drive Configurator” link (2) in the left column.

Using “Add to Cart & Continue” adds the configured product to the Cart, but doesn’t clear the current configuration which allows it to be modified; useful for quickly adding similarly configured products with minor variant differences.

Entering an 8-digit code in the “Configure by Typecode or Code No.” will auto-populate the configurator variants.

Select the TR200 Series product type required.

PRE-CONFIGURED PRODUCT


Page defaults to display five products; but can be expanded by changing the “Products per Page” setting.

Add products to your Cart by clicking on the square to the left of the Cart.



Product details will appear in the pop-up box when positioning your mouse over the description.



Enter quantity of each product, and click cart icon to add to cart.

To enter multiple line items simultaneously, click on the square box on the left side of each line item required and use the “Add Selection to Cart” button.



Using the Cart/Quote/Order


Add selected (1) or Configured (2) products to Cart.

Cart contents will be displayed in upper left-hand corner (3).

Use View Cart link (3) to access Cart.

Information fields are auto-populated based on user’s log-in credentials.

Prices displayed are LIST; the authorized Multiplier will be applied in the “Quotation” or “Order Preview” screen.

PREPARING QUOTE / ORDER


“Your Reference” typically displays a PO or Project /Quote reference number.



Delivery Type is auto populated with the default method chosen by your organization and based on user’s Log-in credentials.

A pull-down screen will provide other Delivery options used previously.



“Requested shipping date” needs to be entered; initial default displayed is current date. Use the pop-up calendar displayed to select the desired date.



This screen will appear with a new requested ship date. If it does not, turn OFF your pop-up blocker.

Provides the option of selecting different ship dates for each line item in the Cart.



Use “+” to access item description and additional fields of items in the Cart.

Prices displayed are LIST; the authorized Multiplier is applied on the “Quotation & Order Preview” screen.



A “Requested Delivery Date” field will be provided for each line item

“Mark for BOX label”/”Tag for UNIT label”: free-form up to 20 characters.



Freight payment type is a mandatory field.

When using Collect, use the “Additional shipping info” to enter your carrier customer number.



To delete an item from your cart, select the box and “Update”.



The “Configuration” link is available to re- open the product in the configurator if revisions are necessary.



“Deliver to” allows each item in the cart to be routed to a specific location.

Address selections are available in the “Delivery Address” field (upper left).



The “pencil” icon opens a screen allowing for a one-time shipping address to be applied to the order.



Binoculars and drop-down menu provide list of registered ship-to addresses.

“Magnifying glass” provides exploded view of ship-to info.



Project type: select option that most closely defines the application/installation for this order.



To prepare a quote, select “Quotation” from “Go To” pull-down menu.

Failure to provide freight payment data will result in an error when preparing a Quote/Order.



Assigned Multiplier has now been applied and NET Prices are displayed.

Select “Save” (1) or “Continue Shopping” (2) to modify.

When the quote is saved a unique reference number will be assigned.

“Print” or “Download” quote to a PDF or MS WORD document.

“Close” saves and closes the quote so it can be accessed later.

Use an existing Quote to develop an updated version.

Select items and “Transfer” to copy the items into the cart to re-create an Order or Quote.

Create Order – convert Quote to Order

Close – Quote is saved

NOTE: check the “I accept terms and conditions” in order to place order

“Export to Excel” exports the top-level line item detail to Excel.

A confirmation screen is provided to review the order details.

1. Use “Submit Order” if details are complete and correct to place order.

2. If revision is necessary the “Continue Shopping button will return to Cart without placing the order.

3. NOTE: check the “I accept terms and conditions” box to process order.
