About Qualtrics

• Qualtrics survey software was launched in 2002

• A research survey software product developed by Qualtrics, LLC.

• A survey tool that helps users to design and publish survey online.

Campus license on Qualtrics

• Staff and students holding an active HKU Portal account are eligible to use Qualtrics.

• University staff can use this software for work-related purpose while students are eligible to use it for their work related to University studies

• The use of this software is governed by the Terms of Service of Qualtrics, LLC(https://www.qualtrics.com/terms-of-service)

Access to Qualtrics

• Go to https://hku.qualtrics.com and you will be redirected to HKU Portal Login page

• Login using your HKU Portal UID and Portal PIN

• Click No, I don’t have a preexisting account here to proceed.

• Your Qualtrics account will be created. You can click ‘Sign in’ to login Qualtrics

For Existing Qualtrics User

• Click Yes, I have a preexisting account here to proceed.

• Enter your preexisting Qualtrics account email and password. Then click Verify account.

Tips on updating your survey form

• The Version History allows you to view old versions of the survey and restore them.

• Whenever you delete a question, it is moved to the Trash, located at the bottom of the Survey tab.

• You can move any question in the Trash back into the survey by clicking on the question and selecting Restore.
