Our aim is to provide the highest degree of reliability and we know how important it is for personnel to be properly trained. Our Service department offers training courses for the purpose of certifying engineers and technicians in compliance with ABB Training and Certification Policy guidelines.Our courses are held in our Lodi-based Training Center, but arrangements can also be made for sessions at your site.
Training course programThe main topics are:• PassM0,M00
- Description and operation- Installation and preventive maintenance- Combined disconnector /earthing switch - BES7 disconnector operating mechanism- BLK circuit-breaker control- Circuit diagram- Assembly - Connections- SF6 gas handling
• Compass- Description and operation- Installation and preventive maintenance- Circuit-breaker - BLK circuit-breaker control - Circuit diagram- Earthing switch- Earthing connections - SF6 gas handling
• Tg- Description and operation- Assembly- SF6 gas handling- Maintenance
The training programs usually include a visit to the factory.
Training course goals Our main goal with these courses is to ensure safe and efficient operating processes.
Training levels We offer the following training levels: • Level3–InstallationandcommissioningtrainingforHV
service technicians and engineers. The participants will receive the relevant certificate once
they have successfully performed one installation and commissioning job under the supervision of an accredited supervisor.
• Level4–ProductExperttraining.• Re-Certification–Courseforserviceengineerswhohave
attended the training course and who are authorized to performworkuntiltheircertificatesexpire.
The project curriculum and reports made on site are also taken into consideration. TheRe-Certificationcourseisrequiredevery3yearsand provides participants with an overview of product upgrades.

Training CenterThecoursesareheldinourLodi-basedTrainingCenter,whichisequippedwithalltheswitchgearandcontrolgearabletoensure that participants take part in an interactive and truly uniquelearningexperience.Onrequest,thecoursescanalsobeheldonthecustomer’spremises.

EnrolmentYoucanenrolbyemail.Pleaseenrolasearlyaspossiblesincethe number of participants per course is limited. The Service Department reserves the right to change the course schedules and programs. Training courses may be cancelled in the event of failure to reach the minimum number of participants.
