High Voltage Service Training courses for Service technicians and engineers Standard service proposal Our aim is to provide the highest degree of reliability and we know how important it is for personnel to be properly trained. Our Service department offers training courses for the purpose of certifying engineers and technicians in compliance with ABB Training and Certification Policy guidelines. Our courses are held in our Lodi-based Training Center, but arrangements can also be made for sessions at your site. Training course program The main topics are: Pass M0, M00 - Description and operation - Installation and preventive maintenance - Combined disconnector /earthing switch - BES7 disconnector operating mechanism - BLK circuit-breaker control - Circuit diagram - Assembly - Connections - SF 6 gas handling Compass - Description and operation - Installation and preventive maintenance - Circuit-breaker - BLK circuit-breaker control - Circuit diagram - Earthing switch - Earthing connections - SF 6 gas handling Tg - Description and operation - Assembly - SF 6 gas handling - Maintenance The training programs usually include a visit to the factory. Training course goals Our main goal with these courses is to ensure safe and efficient operating processes. Training levels We offer the following training levels: Level 3 – Installation and commissioning training for HV service technicians and engineers. The participants will receive the relevant certificate once they have successfully performed one installation and commissioning job under the supervision of an accredited supervisor. Level 4 – Product Expert training. Re-Certification – Course for service engineers who have attended the training course and who are authorized to perform work until their certificates expire. The project curriculum and reports made on site are also taken into consideration. The Re-Certification course is required every 3 years and provides participants with an overview of product upgrades.

EnrolmentYoucanenrolbyemail.Pleaseenrolasearlyaspossiblesincethe number of participants per course is limited. The Service Department reserves the right to change the course schedules and programs. Training courses may be cancelled in the event of failure to reach the minimum number of participants.
