I. Information about the Habtoor Grand Hotel Convention Center & Spa, Beirut

Habtoor Hotels is a division of Al Habtoor Group which belongs to Mr. Khalaf Al Habtoor from the United Arab Emirates. Al Habtoor Group began with the formation of Al Habtoor Engineering Enterprises in 1970. The business has expanded dramatically in the past 40 years and now includes interests in automobiles, trucks, construction, hotels, hotel management, catering, real estate, insurance, publishing, and education.

Habtoor City is considered to be the most prestigious landmark to grace Beirut’s skyline. The combination of two hotels: The Metropolitan Palace Hotel and The Habtoor Grand Hotel Convention Center & Spa, brings hospitality to a new level including:

88 Rooms,15 Royal suites, 22 Ambassador suites, 22 Junior suites, and 3 penthouses

Restaurants, lounges, and bars “Elixir” Leisure spa, swimming pool, and gym “Le Mall” shopping mall

Departments

Habtoor Grand Hotel employs around 250 employees and workers spread all over its departments.

In the front office department, where I work now, there are 20 employees contained at the reception, business center, airport counter, concierge, doorman, and the guest relations.

The hotel’s major competitors fall around 5 star hotels but mainly nowadays they are:

Activities

The company’s activities have a very wide range since it does different kinds of business but Habtoor Grand Hotel (HGH) always does special promotions on rooms and f & b outlets. Some publications of HGH launching the special activities of the holy month of Ramadan are below:

Not to forget that many interviews are done with managers of the hotel in the fields of management (as the GM), public relations, sales and marketing, and divisions managers for all types of magazines and newspapers from different countries.

Also, an offer which was done at the beginning of this summer season and ends at the end of August is below, noting that it took a lot of success from old customers and brought the hotel numerous new ones.
