Advantages of E-training1. Ease of access to it from almost anywhere around the globe.2. Fast and demonstrated efficiency in many instances 3.Learner Control over the pace of learning.4.Online interaction of multiple learners , although not always
guaranteed particularly across multiple time zones. Disadvantages of E-training1. Expensive to design and sometimes , implement particularly when
there is no valid or intermittent internet connection.2. Susceptibility to distractions.3. Absence of Practice and non guaranteed effectiveness of actual
learning.

Evaluating the effectiveness of the Training Process
General- Level of Student Satisfaction pending transfer of acquired skills to the workplace.- Behavioral factors- Financial implications of investing in training on the organization's sustainability
in a variable and dynamic environment Individual Factors- Motivation.- Role of core self evaluation in maximizing or minimizing benefit from the training
process.- Cognitive ability.- Self efficacy.
*Finally , for a training program to be effective, it must not just teach the skillsbut change the work environment to support the trainees.
