With your new accreditation, you will have access to all the training documentation you need alongside all the services and advantages with which Fujitsu Technology Solutions can provide you.

You are now part of Fujitsu Training Community, working on our products, solutions and services. You will have interactive contact with each person within this community and will be able to attend our forums as well as our training courses so that you are always on top of recent developments regarding Fujitsu’s offerings.

This brochure’s aim is to aid your understanding of how Fujitsu Corporate Training Academy service works and provide you with all the main information you need to know as a new trainer. You will also find useful documents you need for your future courses.

Trainer certification

How to become a certified trainer To become a Fujitsu certified trainer, you will have to attend 2 face-to-face sessions, called TTTs (train-the-trainer):

A Products/Solutions/Services TTT, (e.g. PRIMERGY Pre-sales Advanced TTT). You will receive 2 credit points. This certification is valid for 12 months.

A soft skills TTT (e.g. Presentation Styles). This certification is valid for 24 months.

The Products/Solutions/Services training session is followed by a written exam and/or practical test. If successful, you will be certified for twelve months. A full series of TTTs is usually offered during May/June and November/December in our Training Center in Augsburg/Germany. In addition, we offer soft skill TTTs throughout the year, in Munich and Augsburg.









Once you passed your Products/Solutions/Services TTT exam, and just before your soft skills TTT, you can access our Trainer Certification Center (TCC) website. Here you can see your certifications, participant and course delivery files, but you are not in trainer database yet and hence can’t be selected as trainer, till you attend one of the offered soft skills TTT.

How to renew your certification

To renew a trainer license, another 3 credit points must be collected during 12 months from initial trainer certification. These 3 points can be collected choosing between these criteria:

Update training including exam (online) 1 point

Deliver at least 1 f2f-class 1 point

Feedback ≤ 2.0* 1 point

Products/Solutions/Services TTT including exam 2 points Moreover, every 2 years (at least), you have to renew your soft skill certification. *We use the German school grade system: 1.0-6.0, whereas 1.0 is the best, 6.0 the worst grade.

Dominique COTE Dominique Côté became a champ trainer for Fujitsu Technology Solutions in 2002, at the time for PRIMERGY Pre-sales and PRIMERGY Installation. He is still champ trainer for PRIMERGY Pre-sales and is constantly looking for ways to improve the PRIMERGY Pre-sales training and welcome feedback and input of any kind. Marc HARNISCH From 1992 to 1997, Marc Harnisch worked with Siemens AG, Siemens Nixdorf and Fujitsu Technology Solutions GmbH and worked then as a Service Technician from 1997-2003. Martin O’SULLIVAN Martin works for Support Services group in Fujitsu TSD UK, where he provides POST Sales training and support on PRIMERGY and Storage products. Having joined the company in 2001 he has provided support for most of the FTS product range and in 2009 became the champ trainer for PRIMERGY Linux Install and Manager Course. Since then he has become the champ trainer for a number of the post sales courses. Developer of the following courses: PY-LIN-IM, PY-LIN-IM-ADD, PY-IM-U, PY-VMW-IM

Colin PETERS Colin Peters is the champ trainer for the PRIMERGY BX600 system unit and has been working for Fujitsu Technology Solutions for five years. His current job function includes, among many other things, supporting sales and pre-sales on PRIMERGY in general but specializing in the BX600. Developer of the following courses: PYB-INS, PYB-INS-A, PYB-VIOM

Frank SPULS Frank Spuls works as a Sales trainer in ICT Sales Education for DIDACTiVE since 2004. He was previously a technical trainer for Product Support Services Microsoft. Developer of the following courses: CLI-SAL-B-WBT, CLI-SAL-WBT, MC-SAL-WBT, DC-SAL-WBT, ZC-SAL-WBT, TZC-SAL-WBT

Your role is to deliver trainings to our partners willing to be certified by Fujitsu. You will be contacted by the local branch of Fujitsu in your country.

All the presentations and tools you will use in your own courses are prepared and developed by our champ trainers. You will find all these documents in the training kits in our TCC.

Training kit

You will find a training kit for each course, for which you are accredited. There are two different folders in a training kit:

- Course Delivery (= documents for TRAINERS) in which you will find course delivery instructions, hardware requirements, presentations (PowerPoint), practical exercises incl. solutions, printing instructions etc.

- Participants (= documents for STUDENTS) in which you have the agenda, practical exercises, and presentations in read-only pdf format so that the participants cannot modify them.
