The Component Repair and Overhaul Technician is also a technical resource person in the analysis of system failures when required. He keeps abreast of latest developments of related systems by updating himself through relevant manuals and other publications.

Senior Repair Engineer/Senior Process Engineer

The Senior Engineer (NDT Level 3) manages the organisational Non-destructive Testing (NDT) inspection systems to meet regulatory requirements and ensures all NDT inspections comply with EN 4179/NAS 410/NADCAP/OEM as appropriate and customer requirements.

He/she oversees NDT processes and ensures that all shipments of finished components are in compliance with all requirements.

He develops special process control plans, as well as manages and maintains equipment and operator certification programmes.

He monitors results of NDT for trends and corrective actions, and conducts quality audits to ensure compliance to Engineering Standards Manual and NDT requirements.

The Senior Engineer (NDT Level 3) conducts relevant training to NDT personnel in the organisation to maintain their knowledge currency.

Senior Engineer (NDT Level 3)

The Senior Quality Engineer develops the organisation quality system and manages internal/external supplier audits and certification.

He/she also takes part in quality investigation, impact analysis and first article inspection processes. He oversees the technical library ensuring the Maintenance Organisation Exposition, Quality Management System, Safety Management System and training manual are updated.

He sanctions alternative processes and tooling, and leads the implementation of new inspection technologies to achieve process, reliability and productivity improvements.

The Senior Quality Engineer is responsible for the training of new hires and ensures that individual proficiency levels are maintained. He drives continuous improvement through use of process improvement tools. He may also be authorised by the organisation in accordance with procedures acceptable by the Authority to certify aircraft components for release to service. (Fulfil Part SAR-145.35 and AC 145-2(3) requirement)

Senior Quality Engineer

The Senior Planning Executive analyses contractual agreements, formulates maintenance plans through consultation with customers as appropriate, generates rolling forecast, and evaluates advanced costing processes and procedures to resolve issues and support activities.

He/she generates performance reports and data to monitor/validate the maintenance progress.

The Senior Planning Executive drives changes and continuous improvement using work improvement methodology to bring the organisation to the required standards. He drives continuous improvements on maintenance tasks for on-time delivery and man-hour savings, and develops strategies and priorities for critical customer issues. He participates in problem-solving, leads in regular reviews with key suppliers and establishes best practices on process improvements to enhance productivity.

The Senior Planning Executive is also responsible for developing and conducting training for new hires.

Senior Planning Executive

The Operations Manager/Technical Manager oversees and provides guidance for maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft components.

He/she manages the assignment of technicians as necessary to accomplish maintenance functions in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEMs) manuals and regulatory requirements. He supervises all maintenance personnel, and optimises utilisation of available manpower and other resources to meet functional, business and organisational objectives.

As a subject matter expert, he is responsible for approving work instructions, quality control, repair and test documents, establishing solutions to technical engineering issues, troubleshooting and repairing complex test equipment, and conducting root cause analysis.

He also demonstrates awareness and understanding of Environment Health and Safety/Safety Management System and works proactively to eliminate risks.

The Operations Manager/Technical Manager drives continuous improvement in the facility, individually or as part of a team that may include operations, quality and materials procurement personnel. He works with the operations team to develop and drive cost saving measures.

Operations Manager/Technical Manager

The Quality Manager defines the quality assurance of the organisation and also ensures that the technical qualification of personnel meets regulatory requirements.

He/she manages the development and review of the organisation/repair station‘s quality system, Maintenance Organisation Exposition, Safety Management System and training manual, with reference to the regulatory requirements and ensures compliance.

Quality Manager

The Senior Operations Manager/Senior Technical Manager leads and oversees the operation of his/her division ensuring all maintenance activities such as assembly, disassembly, functional test of the systems and components are performed in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEMs) technical manuals, organisational and regulatory requirements.

He ensures that all warranty claims are investigated, validated and followed up as deemed necessary. He holds regular technical coordination meetings with operators to keep abreast of work scope requirements.
