The Component Repair and Overhaul Technician is also a technical resource person in the analysis of system failures when required. He keeps abreast of latest developments of related systems by updating himself through relevant manuals and other publications.
He may also be authorised by the organisation to perform quality control and assist in Non-destructive Testing functions in accordance with organisational procedures.
Quality Control:He inspects parts received (from suppliers) for conformity to specifications as stated using CMM and/or manual gages required for accurate inspection checks and registers non-conformity as required.

The Operations Manager/Technical Manager oversees and provides guidance for maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft components.
He/she manages the assignment of technicians as necessary to accomplish maintenance functions in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEMs) manuals and regulatory requirements.
