Cannonball Run Oregon

Early Wednesday morning on September 19th my

riding buddy Jim and I left Salem with threateningrain on I5 past Eugene. Finally we were greeted

with a beautiful sunny ride over the Willamette

Pass to Chemult then down Hwy 97 into KlamathFalls.

We arrived at our motel about 1:00 PM and

shortly afterwards rode east about 18 miles

towards Lakeview, searching for locations to take

photos and hear sensational sounds of wonderful

early motorcycles passing by at speed.

In Salem, Jim told me he was going on down to

Reno to visit his son. So, for my first time, I rodenorth on the west side of the lake and later took

the Dead Indian cut-off into Ashland. It is abeautiful back country curvy road with very littletraffic, then I5 to home.
