Trafo Electric Pvt. Ltd. is a part of the 42-year-old Multi-crore ALLSTATE Group, manufacturing Power &Distribution Transformers. Trafo was formerly in technical and marketing collaboration with M/s. Crompton GreavesLtd., for a period of 5 years. Trafos manufacturing facilities at MIDC, Chinchwad near Pune, spread across 30,000

Sq. Ft., is equipped with all modern manufacturing machinerys and testing instruments required for production oftransformers under IS-2026/1977.

Transformers with ratings from 25 KVA to 5000 KVA upto 33 KV class fall in our standard manufacturingrange. Other types like Auto-Transformers, Lighting Transformers etc. Are also manufactured on special orders.

The main features of Trafos Zero Defect transformers are as follows:

CORE:Core is built up from low loss cold rolled, grain oriented silicon steel laminations, having mitered joints to reducelosses.

WINDINGS:Cylindrically shaped and assembled concentrically windings are so designed to meet three fundamental requirements

viz. Mechanical, Thermal and Electrical. Windings are of high grade Copper / Aluminum and is Paper Covered/ SuperEnameled as the case warrants.

INSULATION & IMPREGNATION:In order to prevent deformation when subjected to short circuit forces, solid block and insulation is utilized.

QUALITY ASSURANCE & ACCEPTANCE TESTS:All incoming materials are subjected to strict inspection by Engineers carried out as per IS Specifications.
