passive safety - Jerol Traffic Signal PostsThe impact absorbing Jerol traffic signal posts have apolymer composite shaft, which consists of two layers,an inner fibre reinforced polymer composite and anouter layer of tough polyolefin.

The company have successfully crash tested a rangeof traffic signal posts at Helsinki University ofTechnology to ensure that all products complywith BS EN 12767.

Full crash test certificates are available upon request.

The posts have already been extensively used onvariety of Ramp Metering Schemes instigated bythe Highways Agency. These schemes have been

used successfully to regulate the flow of traffic atmotorway slip roads, so as to improve the flow oftraffic on the main carriageway.
