There are two main types of highway cones in the NZ market - the wide body cones (the Classic Orange Cones) and the slim profile cones. The Aero Cone is a high quality slim profile safety cone made from a single piece mold.The only difference between this cone and the Classic Cone is that the Aero Cone has a slimmer profile and a slightly lower centre of gravity giving it slightly more stability in windy environments.

Barriers

Highway 1's extendable cone bars are a very cost effective, lightweight and portable barrier system that can provide an instant separation between pedestrians and hazards.Both their low weight and volume make them extremely easy to transport and can be setup as a temporary barrier very quickly. Alternative solutions are more expensive, more time consuming, require a more space, are heavier and as easy to install. They are best used in combination with road cones. The circular loops at the end of each bar simply hooks over the top of the cone and can extend from 1.3m - 2.2m to create an instant traffic barricade, short term barrier around hazardous or controlled areas, an effective pedestrian barrier and are ideal for event management.It is made from a high grade durable plastic material called ABS and has yellow reflective tape that make the Cone Bar highly visible at night.
