Oils were extracted by cold pressing in wooden expeller press where temperature of oil not allowed to rise above 120°F (49°C).

Purified, RO,UV treated Water(to minimize bacterial infestation) was sprinkled with raw materials to separating oil with used.

Raw materials used for oil extraction were thoroughly cleaned and completely dried before oil extraction.

Oil expeller was cleaned to the best to avoid previously expelled oil mixing.

Jaggery used for gingelly oil preparation was free from chemicals like bone ash, colouring, agents, sulphates etc.

Sesame seeds were washed trice and dried completely to increase the clarity of oil and also its shelf life.

1) Gingelly oil

Sesame oil is a source of vitamin E. Sesame oil also contains magnesium, copper, calcium, iron, zinc, and vitamin B6

Used traditionally as massage oil for scalp and body.High in omega fatty acids.Can be taken as tonic (5 to 10 ml) in empty stomach which improves eye clarity and reduce its redness due to heat. It has high smoke point hence suitable for even deep frying

2) Ground nut oil

Its major component fatty acids are oleic acid (46.8% as olein), linoleic acid (33.4% as linolein), and palmitic acid (10.0% as palmitin).[3] The oil also contains some stearic acid, arachidic acid, arachidonic acid, behenic acid, lignoceric acid and other fatty acids.

It is often used in Chinese, South Asian and Southeast Asian cuisine, both for general cooking, and in the case of roasted oil, for added flavor. Peanut oil has a high smoke point relative to many other cooking oils, so is commonly used for frying foods.

Our black gram is husked(external black cover removed) but not polished to increase shelf life. It has good protein content which increases the quantity and softness of wet grinded flour. The crop has grown naturally without disturbing its growth time by adding any fertilizers(growth accelerators) You can identify its natural taste and aroma if you make Udina Vadai with it.
