About Plans Custom Home Designs plans are designed in compliance with standard construction practice in the State of Alabama. They conform to the International Residential Code for One and Two Family Dwellings, the International Building Code, Southern Building Code and the CABO One and Two Family Dwelling Codes at the time in which the design was created. Many cities and states make amendments to these codes. Check with your local building department to determine the code requirements in your area. Home plans in our region are not required to have a licensed architect or engineers stamp. If this is required you may need to have the plans reviewed and stamped by an architect or engineer licensed in your region. All plans are prepared with the highest quality and are reviewed many times during the preparation of the drawings to insure that the drawings are as accurate as possible. Design Modifications At Custom Home Designs we take pride in providing our clients with the plan design to best suite their needs. We know in order to achieve the best possible design there may need to be modifications made to a plan. If modifications are needed please feel free to call our office to discuss the modifications need to the design. (334) 365-1626 Re-Use Fee Plan Package The re-use plan package is available to the original purchaser only. The re-use package may be purchased anytime after the original order. The purchase of the re-use package consists of a copyright and license agreement to construct another home from the original plan purchased. This license also grants the purchaser a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to print as many copies needed to construct the home. The purchase of the re-use package does not include any prints or modifications to the design. Study Sets Study sets are an 8/12 x 11 drawings of the floor plans and four elevations to be used for estimated pricing of a design. These drawings are stamped NOT FOR CONSTRUCTION and are not a licensed building set of documents. No home may be constructed using a Study Set of drawings.
