These festivals are an important part of Chinese culture and history, both ancient and modern. The dates of these celebrations vary from year to year because they are celebrated according to the Chinese lunar calendar. Also, most of the traditional festivals were developed during the Qin Dynasty (220-206 BC) and a lot of poems were written during this time period, and they are still recited regularly today.
