INTRODUCTIONEstablished in 2004, Tembé DIY and Building Products Ltd is a British company based in Doncaster. We’re really passionate about our uncomplicated approach to business and making great quality products for professionals and DIY through our brands HIPPO® and FILLTITE®.

We’re proud to share our name with Tembé Elephant Park, a 300 square kilometre reserve located in Africa between Zululand and Mozambique. It’s an inspirational place where the busy modern world ceases to exist. The Tembé people are ancestral custodians of the area and are famous for their friendship and warm hospitality.

You can stock our products with the minimum amount of fuss, to do this we work hard to combine low carriage paid order values with small case quantities. This enables efficient use of merchandising space and most importantly optimum, lean stock levels.

SURFACE PROTECTION by HIPPO

The Original Reverse WoundCarpet Protector.

Unlike most carpet protectors Hippo's special water based adhesive allows it to be used on all types of carpet including those made from wool and natural fibres.

No expensive, special applicator devices are required for use. Instead rolls are reverse wound which means they can simply be dropped in place and quickly kicked out to unroll.

Hippo High Performance Carpet Protectors are fire retardant so they meet with commercial fire regulations and can be left down overnight on site. This is especially useful during hotel refurbishments. Leave Hippo down for up to 28 days and remove easily without residue.

Pre-loaded dump bin display for 50 metre rolls of carpet

protector. Two versions available depending on the roll width. Each

holds 9 rolls.
