MARKET OVERVIEW
India is the world’s largest democracy and according to UN estimates, its
population is expected to overtake China’s in 2028 to become the world’s
most populous nation.
India is the 18th largest export market for U.S. goods. India’s economy is
projected to have grown 7.2% from 2014-15 and this growth is expected
to continue through 2015-16.
Foreign companies operating in India emphasize that success requires a
long-term planning horizon and a state-by-state strategy to adapt to the
complexity and diversity of India’s markets.

The goal of this Trade Mission is to help each participant grow their
