One lane of the A46 southbound is closed in Cotgrave following an accident.

The incident happened around 7.30am on Tuesday and is near the Owthorpe Road junction.

Queuing traffic is building up in a number of Nottingham hotspots.

There is congestion both ways on the A52 at the junction with the A6464 Woodside Road, as well ason the A610 around Junction 26 for the M1 at Kimberley.

There are no reported delays on thetram or bus network.

Meanwhile, East Midlands Trains ismaking its customers aware that its5.21am Nottingham to Liverpoolservice will leave Nottingham 13minutes earlier, at 5.08am, every dayuntil Friday.

UPDATE 7.40am: The B6004 ArnoldRoad in Arnold, between HartcroftRoad and Gainsford Crescent, ispartially blocked, with heavy traffic inboth directions because of a collision.
