part numbers and descriptions are quoted for reference purposes only.

WARRANTYHarvestaire warrant that it will repair or replace (whichever it deems advisable) any product manufactured and sold by it which it proves to be defective in material or workmanship with a period of, one year for new parts from the date of original purchase. Warranty service can be obtained by returning any defective product to Harvestaire. A purchase receipt or other proof of original purchase may be required before warranty service is rendered. If found defective under the terms of this warranty, repair or replacement will be made, without charge, together with a refund for transportation costs. if found not to be defective you will be notified and, with your consent, returned to you at your expense.

The warranty covers normal use and does not cover damage or defect which results from alteration, accident, neglect or improper installation, operation or maintenance.

Harvestaire’s obligation under this warranty is limited to the repair of replacement of the defective product (up to maximum purchase price). Harvestaire neither assumes or authorises any other person to give any other warranty or to assume any other obligation or liability on its behalf.

PARTS RETURN POLICY1. Within 30 days of invoice date - No penalty (provided our suppliers

don’t charge a penalty)

2. 30 days plus of invoice date - A restocking fee may be charged

depending on circumstances.

3. After 90 days - Non-refundable.

Special Buy-in items or made to order items are non-refundable.

All new parts are guaranteed to be interchangeable and be the functional

equivalent of the O.E.M. parts they are intended to replace.

Combine Seeder Air Kit

Convert any Combine Seeder to Minimum or Zero Till with aSimple Air KitThis will enable you to get seed and fertiliser to any Tynes so you can spread the Tynes out for excellent Trash Flow

Many Farmers prefer the metering accuracy and reliability of combine seeders but have incurred problems when attempting to change to minimum or zero till farming practices.

The tyne spacing required for trash flow requires seed and fertiliser to be distributed to tynes on all rows and this is not normally possible with gravity feed.

Harvestaire have developed a simple air distribution kit for combine seeders to move seed and fertilizer to any of the tynes on the machine. In many cases fitment of our kit has enabled farmers to upgrade their farming practises without expensive equipment purchases. These kits have been supplied to farmers over the past 17 years and owners are very satisfied with this simple but effective equipment.

The system consists of a 6" hydraulically driven fan fitted on a mounting stand. This then pumps air into a manifold which extends the full width of the combine. Outlets that line up with the metering intervals are located on the manifold. These are connected by short pieces of hose to venturi - one and sometimes two per metering point. The seed or fertiliser or both are dropped into the venturi and the air stream blows it to the tyne via standard Air Seeder hose.

Depending on tyne numbers and spacings sometimes not all drops are used. Some tynes can still be gravity fed. We usually build the manifold with all outlets to match the number of drops and cap off outlets not being used. This enables alteration to future tyne patterns without having to alter the manifold.

The price for a typical system is $5800. This allows for 28 Venturi. If some tynes are being gravity fed less venturi are needed and the price will reduce, unless seed and fertiliser separately to each tyne in which case 2 venturi per drop are needed and the price may increase.

The venturi are approximately 400mm long and are now made from stainless steel.

A typical kit includes:• 6" Blower fitted with a hydra motor, 2 short hydraulic hoses and a check valve all fitted on a mounting stand.• Air distribution manifold.• 6" Flex hose to join the manifold and blower.• 28 Venturi and 4 x 38mm hose clamps for each.

Venturi are priced at $46 each so if some tynes are going to be gravity fed the price can be reduced and if seed and fertiliser are to be sent to each tyne separately extra venturi will be required.

If tynes behind the seed and fertiliser box are to be supplied with seed and fertiliser, a simple attachment to the venturi will be required to reverse the air 180o. These are priced at $10 each and consist of a short piece of 38mm flex hose a bracket and 1 extra hose clamp.

NB: The price of the overall system does not include the hose that runs form the venturi to the tynes or the hydraulic hoses from the tractor back to the short hoses on the hydramotor.

Prices for other machines such as 33 or 27 drop Shearer will be different but the above will act as a guide.

WARM AIR OPTION: We also have available a radiator type unit that attaches to the inlet side of the blower and both:• Cools the Hydraulic Oil• Warms the air flowing through the system. This will dry out any moisture and avoid blockages.
