TRACKR BRAVO COMING TO PURDUE UNIVERSITY FALL OF 2016TrackR to help college students save time, effort, and money

WEST LAFAYETTE, IN – TrackR Bravo will kick start the next school year at Purdue

University in The University Bookstore located on West State Street. TrackR will be

working with the bookstore to provide special deals and clearance prices for Purdue

students as well as other Lafayette area residents.

The TrackR Bravo reveal day will be taking place at University Bookstore in West

Lafayette on Saturday, Aug. 20, with all proceeds benefitting the technology capabilities

and product expansion of the TrackR Bravo.

A lot of people don’t understand how long the average person spends a day

looking for something they misplaced. TrackR Bravo could possibly save ten or more

minutes from your daily routine according to a survey conducted on 24 Purdue students.

The TrackR organization has planned to expand the product into Purdue Uni-

versity hoping to also expand into other universities in the future. The Bravo is a new

product from TrackR and the company is looking to create new technology capabilities

and expand this product, so TrackR is hoping the reveal day will raise thousands

of dollars to help turn this vision into a reality.

The reveal day will be the first of its kind from TrackR. This event was

specially created for bringing this product to a college campus. TrackR is hoping

to have many more reveal days throughout the country at a variety of colleges

and universities.

According to a survey conducted on 24 Purdue students, 100 percent of

these students had never heard of the TrackR brand before. According to the

same survey, 58.3 percent of these students said they were interested in pur-

chasing the TrackR Bravo. TrackR is expecting a good number of sales after

doing research and several surveys for the Bravo.

TrackR Bravo is a company from California, founded in 2009. Some of

its other products include the TrackR sticker and TrackR wallet, which are other

GPS devices used for lost and stolen items. It is located in Santa Barbara where

the company continues to create and improve products.

The Start and Future Expansion of TrackR

Founded in 2009, TrackR was formed by Chris Herbert and Christian Smith who met during their college years at UC Santa Barbara. This idea came to them when Chris almost lost his car to the Pacific Ocean when he could not find his pair of keys. The two started to brainstorm a solution and decided to enter a business plan competi-tion where they won first place.

Six years later, Chris and Christian have teamed up with other individuals to create multiple products. Some of their first products include the TrackR Sticker and TrackR Wallet. Their latest product is the TrackR Bravo. The two have started a com-pany where any individuals can apply to become a TrackR rep. This means if a person is a good candidate, they are given products to sell so consumers have an option to buy TrackR products from a person instead of a website or retail store. Their goal is to help people save time, stress, and money.

TrackR has teamed up with several websites and retail stores to make the TrackR products more available to its consumers. Some of the big name stores include Best Buy, Brookstone, and Staples. The organization is located in Santa Barbara, California where they continue to improve previous products and create new products.
