2020 TRACK STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

The fastest cyclists in Western Australia will take to the Speed Dome from 31 January - 2 February, 2020, for the annual

Track State Championships!

The Speed Dome offers the perfect view from every seat so you don't miss a second of the action as it unfolds just

metres away.Spectators are encouraged - food and refreshments will be available to purchase on the day.

Please note: Only riders holding a current WA Club based CA license can receive State titles and medals.

All WA Junior and Elite State team selections will proceed this weekends event.

* The track will be open for warm-up 1 hour prior to the start times indicated above.

Friday Night 31 January (from 6pm) -Time Trial and Scratch Races

Saturday 1 February (from 9am) - Sprint and Points Races

Sunday 2 February (from 9am) - Individual Pursuit and Keirin Races

The Split Bean Coffee Van will be attending the 2020 Track State Championships, providing beverages and light

snacks. Make sure you have cash available!

Friday night specialBoa Christie will be at the Track on Friday night, serving up some Thai Cuisine. So make sure you get down to try

some of her 'world famous spring rolls!"

RULES AND REGULATIONS

For combined races e.g. U19/Elite/Masters Points, points will be awarded on a first over the line basis, but medals

will be awarded separately. If riders from an age category do not accrue points in a combined race, placings will be

awarded on a first over the line basis.

Strictly no parents in the infield. Riders, coaches and officials ONLY.

All Time Trial Bikes will be tested on the state jig to ensure they are compliant with the rules.

If you miss your race start you will automatically receive a DNS

Please take note of the Cycling Australia Track Technical Regulations that will be enforced during the event.

All riders and are to follow the following rules:

KIT RULES

Riders MUST wear registered, club kit or neutral kit.

No State Team kits allowed. The exception is only for WAIS riders, whom are permitted to race in WAIS kit.

JUNIOR ROLLOUT

All juniors must rollout prior to the event commencement, and after each timed event. Riders are not to return to the

pits until they have presented for their rollout. Any Junior that places in a bunch race, must roll out again immediately

after the race finish prior to returning to the pits.

Riders are to keep their numbers all weekend, unless only competing in one event

Riders are allowed to keep their equipment at the venue overnight.
