Safety Critical licenses that include line closures and working with trains

sound Rail and Construction experience, understanding the works

they manage and familiar with the environment.

gang experience and/or working on major construction projects.

Project PortfolioTrackside Protection and Civils Framework (Various Locations)

Alandale Track & Civils undertook a number of civil packages that

included deep excavation and concrete works, buffer installation,

UTX works and the construction of main ramp ways.

Having conducted these works within ‘live’ and difficult

environments, Alandale demonstrated that we have the capability

of meeting the clients requirements whilst maximising productivity,

without compromising quality or health and safety.

The nature of these works required precise planning, whilst working

within the limited time slots available within the rail infrastructure. All

works were completed within the time frames provided and within

the budgets set.

Other works conducted included the exposing of structural columns

within a live / trading bank, to enable the sampling of the steel

columns to gauge the capacity of withstanding major tunnelling

works.

The team were restricted to out of hours working and all parties were

commended on the quality of the works, leaving all areas complete

and clean ready for business at the completion of each shift.

Utilising our Engineers and Civils trades, this package was successfully

completed without any impingement or interruption to the trading or

operation of the Bank.

Tube Lines - Track Maintenance Programme

Alandale Track & Civils are assisting Tube Lines with the provision of

our experienced track maintenance Protection Masters.

Our dedicated teams of working Protection Masters (who are also

tools trained), work as part of the track gang team undertaking

various maintenance projects along the trackside works.

Our extensive knowledge of re-railing and track maintenance works

has proven invaluable to the client and we continue to support them

in their works.

VolkerRail

Alandale are supplying dedicated teams of Crane Controllers, who

work with Road/Rail Vehicles and machines on the Thameslink project

at Farringdon

All of Alandale Track & Civils’ Crane Controllers hold the ‘Points

Operator’ qualification which assists our client to remove the

requirement for an additional grade to conduct this role – reducing

both direct and management costs whilst increasing efficiency.
