Traceability to Plantation The process of knowing the origin of raw materials for palm oil products down to the level of oil

palm plantations that produce and supply fresh fruit bunches (FFB)

AEP Group has committed to the implementation of product traceability to the level of smallholders who supply the FFB to the Mill. This

conduct aims to ensure that our Mill produces CPO which comes from clear and traceable sources. The method used for traceability is by:

Mapping,

- Identification of small holder

- Socialization

- To collect data from small holder plantation

Data verification

And Tracing,

- Recording the origin of FFB in the Estate

- The Availability of Material Deliverance Letter

- Recording the origin of FFB in the Palm Oil Mill

- Data verification

The status of traceability of the smallholders to date September 2020 was as follows:

AEP has a target to achieve 100% traceability to the smallholder level by 2020 and this is the

commitment of AEP in ensuring the traceability of their FFB.

The dealer and AEP have visited all related smallholder to conduct a traceability survey of smallholders' land by using the "tally

sheet" form. Some of these smallholders have given copies of their land ownership legality letters, but for some others, they have

stated that their land ownership certificates are still within the administration process. Toward this matter, the company provided

assistance by giving the explanation of the flow from their land legal process, so that in the future these smallholders would not

have difficulty in administering the legality of their land to the relevant agencies
