The ku kux klan has an important role in the film because they are protagonist of violent facts against white lawyer and Carl, the fathers girl.

OPINIONIn my opinion this film is excellent because criticizes facts currents such as the justice and the racism.

Nevertheless the movie doesnt stop being a representation of the book, at my opinion the development isnt perfect.
