coordination, strength, and concentration.
Program is led by USA/NAA Archery Level 3

Wilderness Bunch is designed to teach basic
skills needed for tent camping and participating
in outdoor recreation. Day trips include hiking,
kayaking, nature outdoor games and nature lessons.
Participants should be independent in self care
and be able to hike approximately 1 mile.
Participants will need to bring: toiletries,
towel, change of clothes, bathing suit, a sleeping
bag, and a flash light.

Teaching great cooking…one Saturday at a time!
Join us for instructional cooking classes with a
"side order" of fun and conversation! Each 1-day
class has a different focus - in addition to learning
or improving basic cooking skills, participants will
learn about kitchen safety and hygiene; making
healthy food choices; and proper food handling and
storage practices.

Welcome to a super-charged ladies night! Spill
Your Beans provides the opportunity for young
women to talk about and gain support for issues
they’re facing in their lives, such as health &
safety, independent living, relationships,
friendships, and self-esteem (participants will
have the opportunity to choose the topics to learn
about). Each month we will host a guest speaker
or lead a discussion about issues that are
important to you.
Band of Brothers for young men with disabilities ages 18-35

Do you need a night out with the guys to relax
and enjoy new activities? Come hang out with
"Band of Brothers" every Tuesday night from
6-8pm. You can practice social skills, meet new
people, enjoy community outings and develop
positive relationships, all while enjoying some
"guy time".

conversation. Fuel for Life provides the
opportunity for young men to talk about and
gain support for issues they’re facing in their
lives. Each month we will discuss different
topics, such as employment and job skills,
relationships, life goals and values, and other
topics that are important to you; occasionally
we will have guest speakers.

FREE – participants may purchase food
A FREE monthly group for parents, guardians, and
caregivers that is facilitated by a Therapeutic
Recreation staff person but is directed by the group
members. This informal group gives participants the
opportunity to meet and talk with other parents and
caregivers who are experiencing the challenges of
parenting a child, teen or young adult with a disability.
Join us in this comfortable setting as we share re-
sources, ideas, challenges and successes with others
who are on the same “journey.”

Join your friends for a 5-day session of daily
programs...try something new, or practice favorite
skills! This week of half-day programs will allow
participants to try out a variety of cooking,
gardening, creative arts, dance, fitness and sport
skill activities.

Camp Fun Flics: for youth, ages 5-6 with disabilities.
Come and join us for a camp full of animated fun. Ex-
plore the wonderful world of helping Nemo find matching
colors and shapes. Learn about friends and sharing with
Buzz Lightyear. How about arts and crafts with Shrek?
Let’s work it out with Zebra Marty. This camp offers an
array of hidden educational treasures with great interactive
activities, music, games, trips, exercise and more!

Summer Camp Programs PRE-SCHOOL (ages 2-4):
Imagination Station: for pre-school, ages 2-4 with
disabilities
Join us this summer on the Discovery Train! Imagination
Station will allow you to explore the world around you
while making new friends! We will explore such things
as science, art, health, music and sports & games! Each
week will have a different theme such as: Chicka Chicka
ABC and The Very Hungry Caterpillar, which will allow
your child to use their imagination and creativity!
Imagination Station is a great opportunity to introduce
children to a group recreation setting or allow for
continued interaction with their peers during the summer
months. There’s no doubt, kids will enjoy this camp that
encourages non-stop fun and imagination!

X-Treme Kids: for youth ages 7-8 with disabilities
Campers will be engaged in sports, group games,
playground fun, swimming, and other interactive
activities, designed to promote friendship, fun, and
social skills. We will exercise our minds and bodies
through music, dance, art projects, and by taking weekly
field trips. Each week will have a different theme so
kids can look forward to spending time under the sea,
exploring dinosaurs, getting shipwrecked and more!

Young Explorers: for youth, ages 9-10 with

Join us for an 8-week summer camp full of fun and
exploration where youth will enjoy many different
hands-on activities and group games. Get ready to come
with us on a Journey through the Jungle, Tropical
Exploration and more! We will enjoy weekly field trips,
swimming, music, pottery, sports and outdoor activities.
Children should bring a bag lunch with a drink each day.

Camp BE-Tween (For youth, ages 11-13 with
disabilities)
During this eight-week summer experience for
“tween-agers,” we’ll enjoy weekly field trips, swimming,
sports, arts and crafts and much more! Join us as we explore
outer space, around the globe, our amazing brains and our
own backyards. BE active, BE yourself, BE curious,
BE creative…at Camp BE-Tween!

Summer Quest is an eight-week summer
camp experience where teens will participate
in hands-on activities, crafts, music and dance,
and group games. We will enjoy weekly field
trips, swimming, sports, special events, and
much more!
