DescriptionTP660 illmod Trio is a pre-compressed, multi-functional, flexible, air-tight polyurethane tape for sealing joints in hot climates. TP660 Trio’s unique acrylic impregnation creates a hydrophobic, UV stable joint seal. TP660 Trio superior design provides a weathertight and exterior seal and a thermal and accoustic insulation.
PackagingTP660 illmod Trio is supplied on pre-compressed rolls, with self-adhesive on one side to assist initial location.

Usage/PurposeTP660 illmod Trio is used to seal windows, doors and for many other applications that require a weatherproof, thermal and acoustic insulation. TP660 Trio can be installed onto PVC, wood, concrete, aluminium, glass and a variety of other construction materials.

TP660
Application• TP660 illmod Trio ensures a 3 levels sealing in one product
(Figure 1). Before the window installation, TP660 illmod Trio is fixed to the frame.
• After determining the component depth and joint width, select the tape dimension.
• Clean the wall opening to clear away construction contamina-tion and mortar remnants. In the sealing area, mortar should be applied to achieve flush brick joints.
• Clean the sides of the window frame.• Cut off the tapered start or end pieces on the roll and fix the
tape using the self- adhesive. Allow an extra 20mm/m when trimming the tape (cut to suit the joint dimension rather than the frame).
• For site temperatures above 30°C, the tape should be kept in a cool place. For site temperatures below 8°C, the tape should be kept as close as possible to room temperature. High tem-peratures accelerate the expansion while low temperatures retard expansion.
• TP660 illmod Trio must be stored at the temperature between 20 and 30°C , in closed box and not exposed directly to full sunlight.
