ThisinstallationandinstructionmanualprovidesinstallationinstructionsfortheSolTPSeriessolarLEDlightingsystems.Theentirecontentsofthismanualshouldbethoroughlyreviewedandunderstoodpriortoinstallingthisequipment.Donotdiscardthismanual,asitcontainscompleteinstallationinstructions.

Toinsureproperoperationofthisequipment,itisimportantthattheequipmentbeutilizedforitsintendeduse.Anyuseofthisequipmentforpurposesotherthanthoseintendedwillvoidallwarranties.

Installationand/ortroubleshootingshouldbeperformedonlybyqualifiedpersonnel.FollowlocalcodesatalltimesduringinstallationoftheSolTPSeries.Consultacontractorforproperinstallationofpoles.

Beverycarefulwhenworkingwithbatteries.

Donotallowbareendsofthewirestotoucheachotherorgroundedmetalpartswhileconnectedtothecontroller.Thiswilldamagethecontroller.

Thisproductmustbeinstalledinaccordancewiththeapplicableinstallationcodebyapersonfamiliarwiththeconstructionandoperationoftheproductandthehazardsinvolved.

1.0 Positioning the Light

2.1 PV Panel Assembly - Single or Dual Panels (Lay PV panels side by side on cardboard packaging to protect surface)

Fastener Set A (4-8)

Orientation of PV J-boxes should be at top end of panel

Flat end faces up



2.2 PV Panel Assembly - If provided with panel pan

Flat end of mount faces up

Secure screw in mounting hole (only 4X screws required)

2.4 Attach the Tenon Adaptor, Tilted to Your Latitude

Helpful HintTilt angle for the PV panel is: Latitude + 15 degrees, i.e. if installed at 32nd latitude the tilt angle is 32+15=47 Therefore set to 45 degrees.

If possible route PV Harness down tenon adaptor

2.6 Match Drill Hole in Tenon with Tenon Adaptor and Secure

2.7 Drill Battery Mounting & Access Holes; Route PV Harness

4.25” below

Access hole for PV Harness. Drill thru one side @ 1.25” Dia.For dual Battery Enclosures drill thru pole.

Battery Enclosure Channel holes:

Drill thru @.87 Dia.28”

6” Min. from top of pole

Note: Battery enclosure may be mounted lower than shown.



2.8 Drill Arm Mounting & Access Holes; Route Fixture Harness

Note: If mounting two arm mounts, connect both using the same bolts.

Arm Mounting Hole. Drill thru 2x @.75”Dia.

Access hole for Luminaire harness. Drill thru one side @ 1.25” Dia.

• ControllerNumberfortheproductbeingreturned • SerialNumberoftheproductbeingreturned • WorkOrderNumber(locatedinsidethebatterybox) • Adescriptionoftheproblem • Theaddresstowhichtherepairedorreplacedproductistobeshipped

Equipmentbeingreturnedmustbeproperlypackagedtoprotectitfromdamageduringshipment.ShippingcostsandinsurancetoSolInc.aretheresponsibilityofcustomer.

Uponverificationoffailureduetodefectsinmaterialsorworkmanship,wewilleitherrepairorreplacetheproductatourdiscretion.ThecustomerwillberesponsibleforallshippingandhandlingchargesforanyequipmentthatissenttoSolInc.inerror(nodefinableproblems).
