Water use was only 58% of the aquifer “safe yield” of 2,681 acre-feet per year
Targeted average consumption of 89 gallons per person per day
Actual average usage was 74 gallons per-day-per-person in 2013!
Per capita demand remains low, conservation programs continue to be successful, and groundwater supplies are in good health, all despite below normal precipitation.
