Pre-Bid Addendum #2
Response to RFI: 1. Drawing A600 shows the partition types; could you provide us with which walls will receive each partition
type on A100?
Response: Hexagonal tags on Drawings A602 and A603 correspond to partition types.
2. Could you outline the proposed new pavement area?
Response: No; phasing and final schedule will be coordinated with awarded contractor; library operating hours to remain unchanged.
3. What is the depth of the existing building foundation? What is the slab thickness?
Response: Assume depth of 3’-6” and slab thickness of 5”.
4. Drawing A300 shows different shades of the ground faced CMU; could you provide us with a designation of each shade?
Response: See color designations below; note that Detail 1/A300 is meant to be typical of all exterior walls. Dark Grey (base): 947-B Blue - Mix design matrix shall be of 100% ASTM C150 white portland cement, with a combination of ASTM C33 white, earth tone, and black fine and coarse architectural aggregates. Blue color pigmentation ratio shall be between 6-7% of white cement. Medium Grey: Blue WC – Mix design matrix shall be of 100% ASTM C150 white portland cement, with 100% ASTM C33 fine white and coarse black architectural aggregates. Blue color pigmentation ration shall be between 1-2% of white cement White: Natural Pastel #1779 – Mix design matrix shall be of 100% ASTM C150 white portland cement, with a combination of ASTM C33 white and earth tone fine and coarse architectural aggregate, no color pigmentation
5. Are the trellis concrete foundation part of Alternate #4?
Response: No; there are no new doors.
6. Is the refrigerator part of the GC scope?
Response: No.
7. Is the whiteboard part of the GC scope?
Response: No.
8. Drawing C103 Rain Garden Details shows the perimeter walls to be concrete. Drawing A300 shows a CMU pattern. Which should we assume?
Response: Rain garden walls to be ground faced CMU (947-B Blue) with cast stone coping.
9. On Drawing C100 who is responsible for relocating the hydrant?
Response: The Town of Cortlandt.
Revisions to Drawings:
1. Revise Drawing C100 “PROPOSED SCREENING PLANTERS” to read “PLANTERS MANUFACTURED BY QCP CORP. – (2) MODEL QS-PN186024-E AND (1) MODEL QS-PN186024-CM”. Color TBD.
2. Revise Drawing C100 to add note “PROVIDE PLANTERS/BENCHES MANUFACTURED BY QCP CORP. – (2) MODEL Q-INF-176018P-UL AND (1) Q2-INF-60B”. Color and final locations TBD.

3. Replace Drawing E101 Main Level Electrical with attached. a. Remove carbon monoxide detectors near the entrance of the bath house. b. Add Hot water heater, Gas detector and Carbon monoxide detector in mechanical room.
