Tour InformationWestport town was designed by James Wyatt in 1780, in a Georgian architectural style featuring landmarks of the Carrowbeg River, tree lined malls, pretty colourful streets, iconic monuments of the Clock and the Octagon as well as the nearby Westport House.

The famous pilgrimage mountain of Croagh Patrick, known locally as "the Reek", lies some 10 km west of the town. The mountain offers a striking backdrop to the town. The church on the summit can just be made out with the naked eye from Westport.Westport is nestled around the shores of Clew Bay which hosts 365 islands and our tour includes a visit to nearby Achill island.

Tour InformationThe Royal Irish Automobile Club will host The RIAC National Classic Car Show at Ireland’s premier venue the RDS, Simmonscourt Pavilion, Dublin.

Up to 150 classic cars will be on display from both the leading Irish Classic Car Clubs and private collectors. Vehicles from the 19th Century such as the 1896 Benz Patent Motor Car and the 1898 Benz Veto will stand along side a dazzling display of pre-war models such as 1937 Bugatti Type 57, the Jaguar SS100, the Derby Bentley or the Austin 7 Special and more modern models such as the 1972 Ferrari Dino, 1960 AC Cobra 427/sc or the 1951 Jaguar XK120 FHC.

As many as 50 individual stands, hosted by clubs and corporate exhibitors, will feature hundreds of vintage and classic cars at what is likely to be the most spectacular display ever seen under one roof in Ireland.

As well as a truly spectacular display of classic cars, visitors will have the opportunity to talk to expert car restorers, find tools and accessories, restoration products, memorabilia, art and collectables.

Terms & Conditions of Carriage Contract1. Lakeland Tours, act as agents on the condition that they shall not be held liable for any injury, accident, loss or

damage, delay or irregularity caused either by reason of any defect in any vehicle, or by reason of the acts of defaults of any person engaged in conveying the passenger or in carrying out the arrangements of the tour or in anything connected therewith, or of the Proprietor or servant of any hotel or other establishment.

2. A NONREFUNDABLE deposit of £75.00 per passenger is payable when booking, the balance becomes payable 42 days before the departure date of the Tour.

3. The Company reserves the right to modify or change any booking or arrangement made including any itinerary or route where it finds it reasonably necessary to do so.

4. The Company reserves the right to increase tour prices to cover increases in transportation costs; dues, taxes or fees chargeable for services such as landing/embarkation taxes or changes in exchange rates which apply. No rise will be applied within 30 days of departure and the first 2% of any rise will not be applied.

5. Where the company is compelled to alter significantly an essential term such as price customers will be notified and have the option to accept the variation or to withdraw their booking with a full refund.

6. The operation of all tours is dependent upon a sufficient number of bookings being received. Should a tour have to be cancelled for this reason you will be refunded all money paid, or the money will be transferred to an agreed alternative departure. A tour will not be cancelled less than three weeks before departure unless:

1. You have not paid your deposit or balance by the due date. 2. Cancellation is caused by hostilities, political unrest, or other circumstances amounting to ‘Force Majeure’. If we have to cancel your holiday we are liable only for any monies you have paid to us at the time of cancellation.

7. A cancellation can only be accepted IN WRITING from the person who signed the booking form or from the travel agent through whom the booking was made. In the event of a cancellation, either by one or all persons named on the booking form, we will levy our cancellation charge, which is based on the estimated expenses and losses suffered by us as a result of cancellations. (as per chart shown)

8. If for any reason the balance is not received by us by the due date we reserve the right to cancel the booking, and levy a cancellation charge as if there has been a cancellation.

9. Should you have a complaint it should be made immediately to the staff and management of the company providing the service which is the cause for complaint. Our Representative (normally your driver/courier) should be informed as soon as possible. Complaints after the completion of a tour will only be accepted in writing and must be received within 14 days of your return.

10. Whilst every effort will be made to meet passengers wishes as recorded at the time of Booking, Lakeland Tours cannot guarantee that rooms allocated by the hotel will conform on every occasion.

11. Passengers are advised that their personal effects, such as jewellery are taken at the owners own risk and that one medium sized suitcase per passenger can be taken, in addition to small hand luggage which may be taken inside the coach. Passengers are personally responsible for clearing their luggage through any security procedure or border, and ensuring that their luggage is loaded at each hotel departure.

12. We reserve the right to terminate a passenger’s tour in the event of unreasonable conduct. In such circumstances no refund will be made and no liability accepted.

13. Bonding is included in the price of the packages in this brochure. This has been arranged for Lakeland Tours by Status Insurance Brokers. A summary of the cover offered is available on request.

14. The person signing the booking form agrees to accept all the above conditions and states also that he/she has the authority of all persons listed in the booking to accept them.
