Sandia Golf Club is ranked as one of the “Top 5 Courses You Can Play in New Mexico” and “Top 100 Best Resort Courses in the Country.” Home to the Par 72 Championship golf course designed by Scott Miller, Sandia Golf Club is the longest course in New Mexico at 7,772 yards and is managed by OB Sports.

Wireless access is available at the Sandia Golf Clubhouse, Restaurant and Patio.

Two cars per foursome are included with your event. Each golf car is fully loaded with a scorecard, pencil, tees and cooler.

Tournament packages include warm-up range balls available 2 hours prior to the start of the event.

Sandia Golf Club carries Titleist golf club rental sets. Men’s and Women’s sets are available for $40 each. Please provide your Sandia Golf Club Coordinator with your rental club needs 14 days prior to the event.

Your Tournament Date will be reserved when we receive a signed copy of the Tournament Agreement and the Event Deposit within 30 days of date reservation. If we do not receive a signed copy of the Tournament Agreement along with the Deposit by the due date, your reservation may be cancelled without further notice and we will be relieved of all further obligations for the golf outing.

• SGC Tournament Coordinator will contact you to schedule time to meet and begin discussing event details • Discuss golf car needs. If more than 80 golf cars are needed, additional cars will need to be rented for volunteers, staff, etc.

• Update player counts to Tournament Coordinator • Place special orders for merchandise and acquire Hole-in-One insurance • Confi rm contest and additional golf needs • Confi rm menu selections with Ernie Blackstone, F&B Manager

TEE GIFTS AND PRIZES COURSE CONTESTS

EVERYONE ENJOYS WINNING PRIZES! LET US HELP YOU PLAN YOUR ON-COURSE SPECIAL EVENTS. THESE ARE SOME POPULAR SUGGESTIONS THAT MIGHT ENHANCE YOUR EVENT.

Don’t settle for the same prizes anymore. It’s simple; just select one of our two vendors (Nike or Titleist/FootJoy) plus a dollar amount per player, and we’ll do the rest. Your group will have access to top of the line merchandise at wholesale prices.

• Minimum 100 participants, $50 per personAward prizes for the shot that comes closest to the pin on a designated hole. Closest to the Pin (KP) holes available: #3, #8, #12, and #16.

With American Hole-in-One, our preferred Hole-in-One insurance provider, you can offer exciting prizes for a nominal fee. The prize is up to you-cash, trips, cars, boats, etc. Hole-in-One contest holes are: #3, #8, #12, and #16.

Award prizes for the longest drive on a designated hole. Most popular Longest Drive holes are: #5, #11, and #17.

Award a prize for the straightest drive. The player that drives their ball closest to the straight drive rope/line wins. The shot must be in the fairway to count! Most popular Straightest Drive Holes are: #5, #17.

Give a prize away to the player that sinks the longest putt. Most Popular Longest Putt Holes are: #6, #18.

Host a putting or chipping contest either before the tournament or during the round. In-round putting contest occurs at the practice green near the #1 Tee Box.

Award a prize for the ball that comes to rest closest to the water. Most popular Closest-to-the-Water holes are: #10, #14.

Great for fundraising! Solicit each team to pay a small fee so they can play from where Bubba Watson normally hits his drive. We’ll set up a separate set of tee boxes in the middle of the fairway at approximately 350 years from the tee box, which is where each paying team hits their second shot from. It’s as if Bubba hit a drive for the group!

Adding a Helicopter Ball Drop to your tournament will surely get people talking! A Ball Drop is one of the coolest ways to raise money for your charity. Sell 1,000 balls at $10 each and you will have easily raised $10,000 before your event has started. Here is how it works:

• Schedule your ball drop with contracted helicopter company • Solicit a donated grand prize or have a 50/50 cash split • Determine how much you will sell each ball for. Usually groups sell 1 for $10 and give discounts on the more you purchase • Track your sales and sell as many as you can to anyone and everyone in your community, both before your tournament and during check-in on tournament day • Let Sandia Golf Club know how many golf balls you have sold • Sandia Golf Club will provide the golf balls and coordinate the drop with contracted helicopter company

Attract more people to your event with a SNAG Golf Clinic! Our SNAG Golf Clinic is the perfect way to appeal even to non-golfers. Perhaps you have friends or colleagues that would like to support your event, but they do not feel comfortable playing the full 18 holes due to lack of experience. With SNAG, even golf novices can enjoy the game! Our professional staff will provide an hour long introduction to golf while your more experienced players are out enjoying the course.
