Day Detail

First Welcome to Leh – the second largest district in India.

First You have rest of the day at leisure to acclimatize yourself to the high altitude of Ladakh. Evening visit Shanti stupa– built to promote world peace and prosperity and to commemorate

2500 years of Buddhism.

Second Today visit Shey Palace – was used as a summer retreat by the kings of Ladakh, the Indus river, Hemis Monastery – believed to be the wealthiest and biggest monastery in Leh,Thiksey Monastery - Thiksey is especially noteworthy for its gigantic seated statue of the Maitreya and is also known for its (Dukhang) assembly hall.

Second In the evening, visit Leh Palace.

Third Today proceed to Nubra Valley via Khardung pass.

Third Nubra Valley is where the Shyok River meets the Siachen River to form a large valley separating

the Ladakh and Karakoram ranges.

Third Arrive at Hunder by Afternoon. Then Explore Hunder Village and ride camel Safari at Sand Dunes between Diskit and Hunder Village.

Fourth Today visit Future Bhuddha at Diskit

Fourth Then proceed back to Leh.

Fifth Morning after breakfast enjoy full day at PangongTso – also known as Pangong Lake. The lake

acts as an important breeding ground for a large variety of migratory birds like Brahmani

Ducks, Rare black necked cranes and Seagulls.

Sixth Drive back to Leh, Evening visit Leh Market.

Seventh After breakfast leave for Kargil and have a magnificent view of Kargil war Famous Peaks from Vijay war memorial hall site.

Eighth transfer to srinagar by visiting Drass Village, cross famous Zodjila and pass by Sonamarg

Ninth Proceed to airport, Tour concludes.
